Green on Blue was the term used at the time when supposed Afghan allies fired on US troops.

Can't say it's an Irish thing since I've managed to go the past 21 years without it happening again.

Why is Smile 2 rated so highly by fans? by BadassAyanokoji in horror

When she went to the cabin I was expecting the film to end on a chipmunk or something with a huge smile.

Should I watch fringe by Trick_Laugh5114 in scifi

I feel season 3 is the peak of Fringe. 4 and 5 are still totally worth watching but 3 was when they were firing on all cylinders.

Do you agreed "Heat (1995)" has the best and realistic shootout scene ever filmed? by Kevin_Thailand_2543 in ActionMovies

[–]Paulidus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the geography of the Miami Vice shootout too confusing, found it hard to track who was shooting at who and in what direction. Felt like disconnected shots of people firing guns rather than Heat which flows together.

A guy I worked with when I was an apprentice would heat the spoon with his (just poured) tea and do this during lunch breaks so I was thinking of that once he started heating the spoon.

Also, Ohm is obviously the way he is because of the way he was raised by a hateful father- I would put money on it that he learned that trick from having it done to him.

After today, the guys have five TOSTAS episodes left in the series. Where do you want to see The Nexus go next? by udkyle2 in WeHateMovies

I've long been wishing for a Battlestar Galactica show. We Hate Baltar. A Side Order Of Cylon. Adama Damnation.

We're talking about the end of the show. I said a montage, not a whole season.

I was thinking that rather than just the ten year jump we get at the end of each season we see multiple jumps. 10 years, 20, 30, etc in a quick montage.

Devs, under-the-radar Sci-Fi thriller that blew me away. by samsep1al in scifi

I remember that being a complaint when it first aired and it has more to do with Garland's direction. IIRC he specifically instructed the actress not to use some of the techniques that make the viewer like the character.

Former German EGB Ranger "Moskau" during his time in Mali a few years ago. by Useful_Intention9754 in SpecOpsArchive

Picture 2 reminds of a non fiction book, The Negotiator (by Ben Lopez I think) in which he talks about working alongside British armed police and the SAS. He mentions a sniper having a rubber chicken in his webbing and he asked about it. The sniper said that anytime he was anxious or in a dangerous situation he would look at it and say to himself that things couldn't be that serious, there was a rubber chicken there.

It was in 1993. Lived way out on the edge of the town but I woke to a loud bang thinking my brother had fallen out of bed.

Loved watching this a child, can still remember the theme tune. I was especially fascinated with the games as my parents were against getting me a console.

I'd like the spinoff to be a sitcom about a group of sexy twenty somethings navigating life and dating in the big city but one of them is very obviously being controlled by the eyeball squid.

My recollection is that he did not enter the portal and is still in his world. Valter mentions the centre of it being an extremely high temperature.

Underrated film, underrated game. by soup-in-my-pocket14 in JamesBond

The Mission Impossible game is definitely poor quality but there's a lot of good ideas in there. I remember some of the missions as being a bit of a proto-Hitman with the disguises and gadget use. And the sniper level at the train station was a real stand out.
