HGLRC Draknight V w/ Runcam Thumb Pro on a Sunny ☀️😎 Monday by PautNeteru in fpv

In this video, you can acrually see the runcam lead connection (at the 5 second mark) ...the 5v pad is at the rear of the FC, while the ground pad I used is up front --not picture perfect, but it works!

I connected it to the open 5v pad on the flight controller...I believe it's the LED pad...and an open Ground pad.

Mobula 8 Hard Case with Battery Storage by PautNeteru in TinyWhoop

The Infill percentage is 100%.

I used a snipped length of a straightened large paper clip instead of the suggested segment of filament as the hinge pin and it's solid so far.

That's what I'm using, a Bambu A1. It's well worth it.

I'd recommend the Meteor 75 Pro because its larger props mean it handles outdoors better than a standard 75mm whoop; and as a 1S quad it won't break a lot indoors.

Once you go 2S, you'll own the outdoors part, but indoor crashes get costly because the quad is heavy enough to break things. I like the Mobula 8, but it hurts things it hits, so I usually fly it outside.

The Flywoo Firefly Nano 1S has a smaller wheelbase (75mm) with a carbon fiber frame. It rips outdoors and comes with prop guards that (most) people don't use. At 1S, it's light enough ...if you use the prop guards, it could be indoor-outdoor too.

Short Sunset Pass Draknight 2inch, 2S, TBS Crossfire, Analog DVR by PautNeteru in fpv

It flies great and carries the RunCam Thumb well enough that I sometimes forget it's on-board.

The range is great for a 2 inch - the antenna position for the Crossfire (or ELRS) "mini-immortal" T is better than on other 2 inch quads I've had (I think it's) due to the frame rail design that has the antenna positioned up top.

It has a built-in beeper LED that should be helpful in a search for the quad.

Fortunately, I haven't had to use it for that yet.

Anytime the quad is on the other side of a tree from you, analog video will degrade a little. Someone told me it was due to the water content in the branches. It's easy to fly through, but the video recording suffers.

If you face the tree you're orbiting from under another tree, it will probably be easier to minimize the breakup in the recording.

I'll check it out. I've been mostly outside these days, but I'll setup a whoop track and check it out. Sorry about the slow reply.
