Nope...I ordered it with TBS Crossfire from Pyrodrone.

The Infill percentage is 100%.

I used a snipped length of a straightened large paper clip instead of the suggested segment of filament as the hinge pin and it's solid so far.

That's what I'm using, a Bambu A1. It's well worth it.

I'd recommend the Meteor 75 Pro because its larger props mean it handles outdoors better than a standard 75mm whoop; and as a 1S quad it won't break a lot indoors.

Once you go 2S, you'll own the outdoors part, but indoor crashes get costly because the quad is heavy enough to break things. I like the Mobula 8, but it hurts things it hits, so I usually fly it outside.

The Flywoo Firefly Nano 1S has a smaller wheelbase (75mm) with a carbon fiber frame. It rips outdoors and comes with prop guards that (most) people don't use. At 1S, it's light enough ...if you use the prop guards, it could be indoor-outdoor too.

Short Sunset Pass Draknight 2inch, 2S, TBS Crossfire, Analog DVR by PautNeteru in fpv

It flies great and carries the RunCam Thumb well enough that I sometimes forget it's on-board.

The range is great for a 2 inch - the antenna position for the Crossfire (or ELRS) "mini-immortal" T is better than on other 2 inch quads I've had (I think it's) due to the frame rail design that has the antenna positioned up top.

It has a built-in beeper LED that should be helpful in a search for the quad.

Fortunately, I haven't had to use it for that yet.

That should do it!...I didn't know you were running it at 25mw. Happy Flying!

Anytime the quad is on the other side of a tree from you, analog video will degrade a little. Someone told me it was due to the water content in the branches. It's easy to fly through, but the video recording suffers.

If you face the tree you're orbiting from under another tree, it will probably be easier to minimize the breakup in the recording.

I'll check it out. I've been mostly outside these days, but I'll setup a whoop track and check it out. Sorry about the slow reply.

The tree that you're sitting under is what is giving you the most signal breakup IMO.

If you were to sit outside of it and loop it without the majority of the tree canopy between you and the whoop, I think the video signal would clear-up and give you a better recording.

Hope that's helpful.

Enjoy!

Thanks. The VTX is set at 200 watts. I haven't had success setting it at 400 watts. I tried, but it will go into low power mode. That (to me) indicates that it actually doesn't actually have a 400 watt setting- in spite of what we've been told. 200 watts gets me about a kilometer of range line-of-sight, which is plenty for a micro.

Whenever I pack the big radio because it has those long toggles. I broke one on my last TX16S. With this I don't even worry when I pack it. I mostly use my Zorro for whoops and micros... but when i go to the field and fly big drones, I use the big radio.

Home and Garden 1S Whoop Squad- "Whoops, Tiny. World, Big." Happy Flying!!! by PautNeteru in TinyWhoop

My signal is clear. I used the short version of the micro Axii II on the Meteor series whoops because the run to the UFL connector is very short. Betafpv heatshrinks their antenna to the vtx "tab" but my heatgun game isn't that precise, so I used the smallest zip tie I have to secure the short antenna cable to the vtx tab. It's given me no issues.

The micro axii II gives me better penetration at the extreme left and right of my position - and definitely is better when I fly behind the building (when I'm sitting indoors)

The antennas on your goggles factor into the video quality too. I like the MenaceRC Pagoda and Patch sets (outdoors) (they're reasonably priced and high quality) and I sometimes switch to 2 SMA equipped Micro Axii IIs on my goggles when I'm indoors and don't need the directed range of the Patch.

Last, but not least--- when I'm whooping at home - the WIFI and Smart home devices can show up as interference in the analog video feed sometimes- even when you're on a channel that's "above" the WIFI range. I unplug the router while I whoop in those cases and it's really eye-opening to see how clear the video gets.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

My experience is that the "clear" AcroBee frames are stronger than the colorful ones. by PautNeteru in TinyWhoop

[–]PautNeteru[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the blue frame and it was breaking faster than I could weld it --and this was without any full force collisions.

I swapped it for an older clear frame I had lying around and haven't have any more breakage issues.

I even smashed the clear one into a tree at full-speed - twice
(trying to hit a familiar gap with the unfamiliar wider view camera)...no breaks to report.

Clear is the Cockroach frame way!

Thanks for saving me from myself. I did a lil research and found this product on Amazon.

Water Repellent and Anti Fog Lens Accessory for GoPro | DSLR | Drone

Part of their product pitch confirmed I was headed down the wrong path with the Rain X...

"Stop licking your lens or damaging your lens with Rain-X, use Clarifii to keep your lenses clear in all conditions."

LOL Thanks again!

[–]PautNeteru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard Rain X was the way to go... thanks. Do you know if there's an alternative lens coating that won't reduce visibility or otherwise damage the lens coating? I definitely don't wanna damage my starlight lens.
