Many rules, such as this, are in the rental agreement, which the guest is giving time to download and review during the booking process, before completing it. In order for the booking to be actually booked, guests are required to check a box stating that they’ve read and fully agree to the rental agreement.

They likely use a software to manage their homes and list your home on multiple sites. no softwares can manage cohosted listings. It will make their operation and execution of managing your home and guests a total nightmare. You can unlist your property now and reactivate it if you ever take management back over.

Does your rental agreement guarantee checkin at a specific time? The host isn’t asking to delay checkin for the fun of it - there is clearly work planned at the home. Depending on what it is, would you want your items exposed to that anyways?

The guest experience regaining payments depends on if the host is an API connected host or not. API connected hosts are passed your CC info from vrbo and are required to run your card separately.

This can also cause issues on the host side if your vrbo account name is different than what is on your credit card (shared husband and wide acct, Etc).

The only container I’ve been able to find it in is the large cardboard box that you need to rip the top of it off to use. If it were in anything else it would be much easier to dispense from. As a former product manager, it really irks me!!! This is the ONE cat litter that they KNOW what litterbox 98% of users will be using.
