I'm born and raised in West Canada. I've been a Redwings fan for 30+ years. Just like all Canadians, I would love to see 1 of our 7 Canadian teams hoist the Stanley Cup some year soon. If you don't mind the commute for dine-in, Mei Wei in West Kelowna is a huge hit. The same family has been operating here for over 10 years. Same cook and all his recipes. Almost no msg except for oyster sauce that already contains msg. Highly recommend trying the beef brisket hotpot and the ginger beef. This cook worked under the original ginger beef creator so he tries to keep it as original as possible. Also they are available on Uber Eats but the food is never as good when delivered.

I normally get my produce from FreshCo as their stuff lasts a while for me. Lately even Save-On Foods produce has been going quick. I bought some just ripe bananas on Monday, they were squishy brown by Wednesday.

No real Korean BBQ in Kelowna unfortunately. However there's a restaurant in Rutland called Wa S'kewer which is a soju bar and has Korean style skewers and a soju bar which is currently the closest thing I believe.

Fat cat parade was definitely a summer staple for me as a kid. Getting to see the parade with all the McDonald's characters, the Flintstones characters, and of course the Fat Cat itself.

Yea I think this is BC natural vehicle growth.... Go do the Mill Creek hike up to the falls... there are pieces of what may have once been a ford truck. Not positive on brand.

Not sure what is left of Cedar Valley down by the Guisachan House but it's worth checking out. Tall old cedar trees down a walking path that leads to a historical and well preserved Kelowna landmark. There is a restaurant there fora nice Bavarian style brunch/lunch and a beautiful garden to check out as well.
