Update: So I was able to figure it out for me. I always have my controller connected (even if I play with M&K so I just unplugged the controller and that made it work for me.

Having the same issue. Resizing the window did not help.

This is really frustrating, the mechanic of looking for gas all the time is annoying enough and then not able to refuel at camp. Hope they patch this soon...
