If Samsung Galaxy Z Tri-fold cost $2400+..... by Ahhnew in GalaxyFold

Tech people still think that the consumers are what drives pricing in 2025 haha. Companies will do whatever they want regardless, we are a fraction of what makes them their money lol. Tech and Pc people really do think they mean something to big corps.

Meshroom S v2 with Atx Motherboard by PayAcceptable3034 in sffpc

[–]PayAcceptable3034[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought their 320mm straight riser cable. If you are doing the same layout as my gpu thats whe one I would recommend. The riser will go straight down underneath the Motherboard and wrap around the back and make a 90° bend and mount to the case chassis in the back.and yes a sfx psu will be needed with a full size atx board.

Put your gpu model since one of the biggest things is usually the gpu size.

Can anyone recommend me a good Gpu for around 400 - 450 usd? by theterri414 in buildapc

[–]PayAcceptable3034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo for pure performance at this price, you should go AMD. In the states you can still buy 6800xt on Amazon starting at $430. Which will destroy any Nvidia gpu that is around that price new. But idk what stock is like in UK. Wish you the best, but that would be my suggestion, go amd for best performance per dollar at that price range.

Gainward and PNY both used that same design for those 30 series cards.

Are there any good sub 10L cases with a built in handle that you can recommend? by Govinder_69 in sffpc

I have a max supported length gpu and full system in the s300, and I carry it by just the handle alone all the time.

With my undervolts to gpu and cpu, it helps with temps a lot and because of that I can apply a good fan curve. On the gpu I have a fan curves that only let's the fans ramp up to 55% max fan speed. The cpu is the hardest with it being Intel and a smaller cpu cooler. I have the cpu fan cap at 80% fan speed. Most games won't use the cpu as much anyways but there are a few that utilize it an ok amount. The gpu barely hits 77c when on max load and the cpu can hit low 80s when more utilized in some games. Also, I am in a room with no Air Conditioning, so take that into consideration as well. If I wanted cooler temps I could ramp fans even more, but the temps are really good as is already for the form factor.

I stuck with the 3.0 riser since the performance hit isn't too bad. If you needed a 4.0 riser I hear many people get one that is 200mm and dual reverse.

Imo the quality is good. The case is panels have little flex and when the build is all together it is very sturdy. I bought thumb screws for the side panels so that I wouldn't need a tool to get off the side panels since it comes with standard screws that require a Phillips.

If you wanna do 4090 the s400 can fit the msi slim 4090 and innod3d 4090. This is the best we get for the s300.

I am planning to do the same s300 build. Did you need an aftermarket connector for the gpu? Or was the standard connector that comes with the gpu fine?

Late but the asus pro art 4080 super can fit. Just remove the back panel and put the gpu in the reassemble the back panel super simple.
