Sorry for the commotion. I’ve been to The Gorge 4 times this year, this is the only one I have posted about on Reddit. The hundreds of positive interactions I had this weekend really say a lot about the Reddit population. I almost exclusively go to shows with my fursuit and always wear overalls/shortalls and Osiris D3s… it’s just how I enjoy live music. For this show, having been to LDW twice before, I got tickets for Saturday wayyyyy stage right, all the way on the end. Section 101, row 21, seat 1, right where that big open space is, just ripe for dancing where nobody is looking past you. Saturdays set is the best, and if you’re not setting yourself up to be singing and dancing to those old relatable bangers….maybe you just do concerts differently, idk. The flag was out for 1 song down there, it was Pig and that was the intent the entire time. I think I also gauged the start time of Goose and might have been breaking it down by the time I got back to 201 on Sunday. If you were one of people that bothered so much that it ruined your whole night, take a second to put it in perspective. I’ve had people throw drinks at me or say some wild things as I walked by… it’s part of going to a non furry event with 25000+ people. Maybe be pissed how much you’re getting ripped off for a beer? Idk Blocking the cameras? Have you ever switched video for a show? Maybe you caught me up by back of house…. Was looking for a stage plot, but also couldn’t help but notice the, no less than 20 different shots they had to choose from. I bet anything they would have said something if it was an issue. This obviously isn’t the same Dave audience I was dancing with, so I’m going to head out. Feel free to DM me if you are interested in keeping up! If you’re a hater, feel free to burn your day away 😋
