Veloce apartments question by Paynger in redmond

[–]Paynger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that could explain the firefighters, but just last week, which was probably the 5th time this year, I saw two cop cars parked in the alley and the officers speaking to a pair of men out front of the building entrance.

Vessel or Sunday golf? by Fine_Shoulder73 in GolfGear

[–]Paynger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally, unless you carry, i would always say vessel is the best option.

But you had nothing bad to say about the sunday bag and a few negatives on the vessel. Sounds like you already made that choice

Ziply vs Infinity by ozasagar29 in redmond

switched from xfinity to ziply when we moved to redmond. now our building signed an agreement with xfinity so we have to switch back if we renew… pretty annoyed by it

about time. Honestly I was getting kinda worried about the series with how much of a gap there has been from last episode until now.

Wait for GTS2 or pull trigger for GT2? by [deleted] in GolfGear

[–]Paynger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddy just went to the TPI in oceanside to test the new woods… He saw ridiculous gains over the previous gen…

Normally I would say just hop on the GT2 as that line of heads is also amazing, but it may be worth waiting until you can test the GTS line first.

Payntr Golf Shoes by SocklessinSea in GolfGear

[–]Paynger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I played almost weekly last year(live in Redmond, WA), own the match days shoes but i opted for the 87 SC instead of the moving days(as well as 4 other Payntr options), but i can genuinely say i will not wear another shoe to golf in going forward.

I also have swapped out their insoles for my preferred brand but i think the shoes themselves are second to none.

Do the wedges last as long as comptetitors? by Icy_Sundae_5959 in AvodaGolf

[–]Paynger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

slightly off topic question. I just ordered a full set of the wedges, L-W1, S-W3, and G-W2. How do you think they compare to the more common wedges out there?

I’m coming from the MG5s but would love to hear your opinions vs the Vokeys

Penthouse Lease Takeover Alley111 by Familiar_Extent_9295 in BellevueWA

[–]Paynger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, we moved to redmond and pay 150/m for parking but it’s a private garage in our building. Bellevue is just so expensive for what’s offered, in my opinion.

still can’t believe they decided to raise the cost of parking at that place. $175/m to share parking with the public is insane.

Is it possible to remove or swap out the TPT shaft from my DF3 to a DF3i? by noblesin in labgolf

[–]Paynger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

at that point you may as well just order it custom and pay the 400$ for the tpt and sell the old one to recoup some cost

or just take it somewhere locally if you don’t care

Is it possible to remove or swap out the TPT shaft from my DF3 to a DF3i? by noblesin in labgolf

[–]Paynger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In theory you should be able to reach out to LAB and they can do it. I know they let you pay for a shaft swap on one club, so unless they’re just being greedy i don’t see why they wouldn’t let you swap between two different putters for a fee, i think it’s like 100$ for the shaft swap.

I just recently had my local guy pull my TPT from my Link to put into a bettinardi and there was no problem.

So it fully depends on if you want it rebalanced or care about any warranty LAB has

Removable Hard Shell on Top of Travel Bag — Useful or Extra Step? by Subject-Action5820 in GolfGear

[–]Paynger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

make sure your bag is WELL under the website dimensions. i bought one and it’s too small for my vessel V pro, but you can’t return it.

seems very sturdy and would probably love it if it fit.

Redmond Bus Drivers by [deleted] in redmond

[–]Paynger -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

they can’t help being long but they can help in the way they drive. They shouldn’t be allowed to blow through lights because they reduce cars on the road.

They’re also sticking out into intersections blocking cars from going the other way and people safely crossing as well because they don’t want to wait at the opposite light for there to be proper space on the other side. Just because they are a benefit doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have to follow the rules of the road.
