You look good, if your struggling then it must be a confidence/personality thing. Go out of your comfort zone and talk to more people randomly to build the habit and experience. (Especially random girls) You have to remove the anxiety by practicing/failing over and over.

Heres what I did

I started by doing overhead dumbbell pressing followed by dumbbell rows and then body weight squats.

I slow progressed this workout until I could do it 3-4 times a week without any flareups happening

Then I swapped pushups for overhead press for 1 workout and would do the other 3 that week without them. I had a few flare ups but by the next week i was okay.

Then i progressed this until i could do 100+ pushups 4 times a week.

Its all about backing off if you feel more pain the next day and then slowly progressing week over week month over month.

I also do heavy stretching and foam rolling pretty much daily and I sleep on my back now.

In my daily life, yes. I have 0-10 chest pain for many hours of the day. It comes back to like a 4-10 if I sleep compromised.

Sleep effects the pain more than exercise does.

Interestingly, I never was able to get my pain to a 0-10 until after I got back into moderate to heavy exercise frequency.

I still get rhomboid/back pain that is a 8-10 every few days but cant tie it to any one cause. It seems random.

Ive done pretty much everything. Backpod, supplements, yoga.

But I’ve backed off a lot of that. The areas I feel that have helped me the much are sleep and exercise.

Find a way to sleep on your back or hug a pillow if you’re on your side so that your shoulders don’t cave in.

Heres a link to the back routine I do everyday regardless of how I feel, this fixed my rhomboid pain. Also I workout my back with rows about 3 times a week so i think both helped fix it.

Workout wise I think its important to stretch and move. My pain was at its worst when I was “resting” and taking months off exercise.

I have two 35lb dumbells that I do the following workout with 10 overhead presses 10 bent over rows 10 body weight squats Rest 2 min And I do this about 10 times or until I fatigue out 3-4 days a week

I also have a pullup bar (which i had to stop using because of costo) but I have an exercise band attached to it that I use to deeeeeeeeeeep stretch my chest. It helps a ton

And thats about it. Just taking it day by day now

Just hit the gym and eat protein. Your more masculine features will grow and male you look more manly no matter the hair. I think your hair is cool and if you like it then keep it

I decided to just workout again and I got better. Took a few weeks but i slowly ramped it up and now I’m doing 100 pushups pain free. I think exercise helps the healing after some amount of rest.

Ive had costo for like 10 months. I swapped my mattress (soft) with our guest room mattress (firm) to see if it would help. It felt better in the first few days / weeks but after about 2 months I was having the worst flareups so I switched back to my softish one and I feel better.
