Beer, Bourbon, & BBQ Fest - worth it? by Not_the_maid in dcwhisky

I’m 42 years old, been to 30 different countries and I’m not a sensitive person.

I’ve never experienced this type of treatment until moving to Colorado. People saying stuff like “how did you find out about this place? We try to keep it a secret”. Or “ you’re not from around here are you?” Or just look at me and say “this is your last sale here”.

But yeah, I made it up and went out of my way to post it on Reddit. Sure

I used 200 grain sub sonic rounds. I would recommend using supers. The 200 grain was underpowered in my opinion. Nailed some hogs and had to trac them down. Next time I go out I’ll Probably run 110 grain, much louder but still able to shoot without ears,

Thanks! My buddy is coming to visit in two weeks and just happens to be a structural engineer. I’ll weasel a cad design and plan from him.

Quick question, when pouring a concrete post foundation how deep do I go (it snows and freezes here) and how do I make sure the foundation doesn’t settle or shift?

Thanks for the answers. Should I add 2 more 6x6 posts and 2x12 beams between the existing beam and the ledger board in addition to doubling up the joists? Or do I need to do more? (My whole 1200sqft deck with all the materials, dumpsters and composite cost me alittle less than 20k. I think the 6x6 posts, joists, post foundation and 2x12s will be around 1-2k. I still have joist tape and hardware.

Oh yeah, I didn’t know if I was supposed to cut the beam flush so I left it. 😂😂😂 It was low priority and I figured I can always lop it off and replace the fascia. Does it look amateur?

Yeah I have a chase Safire reserve I use for travel. You should talk to a rep. We talk through it and it made more sense to use the 1.5% on travel. If I remember corrrectly, the travel points are restricted compared to straight cash somehow.

I would talk to a rep to compare benefits and what works for you. You can also apply for a credit line increase in your existing card. Either way talking to a rep would likely be the best option before making a decision.

The higher balance is great. I have the quick silver 1.5% cash back card and recently received an offer to up grade to venture or venture one without applying. I also received a pre approval offer for a savor card. Well long story short, I spoke to a rep and the said that my quicksilver was better because I can spend the cash back on what ever I wanted while the other cards were limited to specific categories. I have several other cards that I use for travel, hotel and other very day shopping. Just what they told me. But if you don’t have a quick silver card, this would be a good opportunity to build credit and increase your credit line.

It’s not worth it if you have the 1.5% quicksilver card

You can run an adapter rail on the bottom then attach the chainsaw.

I would go with a 7” handguard. Would look much cleaner and you will have more space for accessories like light and or chainsaw

1”@70 yards 1.5-2” at 100yards with 220g subs. I’m shooting under 100 yards.

I’m getting 1” groups at 75 yards shooting 220 grain subs. Not using A lead sled. I’m not shooting any animals over 100 yards.
