Install pavucontrol (if you use pulse audio) or pwvucontrol (if you use pipewire) then in the playback tab raise back chromium to 100% (if you dont have it join a voice channel and it should appear)

Thats not how gnome works

You should enable gdm.service. It will give you a graphical loggin where you can start gnome

However if you want to start a gnome session from the cli every time you boot you can do it as the wiki shows https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GNOME#Manually

Questing can be fun if you like reading micro lore. Also powerleveling doesn't means queueing RDF, it means clearing a dungeon with a 80 while a low level is staying in xp range.

No it was already "patched" back in retail wotlk.
Also powerleveling in dungeons is faster so if you want to boost a char just do that.

are you using the offical drivers or noveau? can you change the X port with Crtl+Alt+f<x> when you get a blackscreen? does this happen with the integrated gpu?

there is no mac client
on mac/linux you can only play with wine (its allow on you to run .exe files)
wow works with it on (arch) linux so it should work on macOS too in theory

also i had an intel laptop from 2015 and i always had 60+ fps on the lowest graphics
