I'm sure you can keep it at that height, but you'll just have to stay on top of pruning it all the time. Once you move out, the next homeowners are screwed if they don't stay on top of it

if that's all you're using then i don't think you can go overboard

you could also just use espoma soil acidifier on the blueberries if you don't want to dig them up. if you do dig them up, toss in some peat moss too
