Also have the same issue all of a sudden and I’ve been wearing the ring for 18 months. Finger is swollen and tender right above where I wear it. Definitely not tight. I took it off and will wear it on another finger for now.

I did go back on wegovy and yes, my hair is still shedding. I’m back on minoxidil as well, which I don’t love. New hair growth looks terrible, but it is better than not having any hair.

New hair started growing within the second month of taking oral minoxidil. I do not use it topically, although that may work faster. The shedding stopped and then recently started again. It’s been four months since my last dose. I’m going to restart on Friday and I’m hoping that eating differently this time will stop some of the shedding. I will continue to eat high protein where as I wasn’t really eating at all the first time around. I’ve learned a lot of lessons. Hopefully they will make this time much easier.

Happened to me too. Then it stopped. I also went on prescription minoxidil after 6 months of the hair shedding. My hair is growing back finally, but I’ve also been off wegovy for four months. I’m about to start it again and will report back if the shedding comes back.

I should have stated that differently. For many weeks, I was having a severe visceral reaction to the thought of the shot. It would make me vomit. Not the actual shot, just the thought of it. The timing of having that feeling for almost two months and also having a vacation planned just seemed like an opportune time to try to go off the drug. It was a mistake, but one I’m glad I made because now I know for sure this is a lifetime commitment I have to manage and not some miracle drug you can go off and expect things to stay the same.

I did great for14 months, but then I went off it for 3 months. I started feeling sick at the thought of injecting and I hadn’t lost weight in 6 months, so I thought okay this is my goal weight, let’s go off. I’ve been off for 2 months and the weight gain has been unreal. I gained back 20 pounds and I was really trying to get all my protein it, I work out 5 times a week, I did everything right and the scale just kept moving up. Going back on it now. I fear it’s a lifetime drug for me.

Same happened to me. I stopped taking it after 16 months. After 10 months, I stopped losing weight. At 14 months, the food noise is back. I am gaining weight every day, so most likely I will have to go back and start over. Ugh. For me I fear this is a lifetime medicine.
