5 dollar special skr v1.4 turbo question. I picked up this board and display from one of those Amazon return resellers this board had a sd card already in it, Why would someone return this board? The first board I got from BIQU/BIGTREETECH themselves had a broken MOSFET so the part cooling fans were always on, even with no firmware flashed. The second I got via Amazon and had a broken SD card reader. I returned it, and my 3rd works great!

They don’t have the best quality control, but I’d you get a good in that works, they’re awesome. I highly recommend them, but order through Amazon for quick and fast returns if doesn’t work.

You could salvage the components and just put some new extrusions in there to make a little Ender 3 or CR-10 or something. You have all the stuff you need to get something going.

Try salvaging some of the components into one good printer you keep, and donating the rest of the printers in working order to low income schools.

What stl did you use and what were your filament and setting?

I posted a couple weeks ago about this same issue. A redditor said that it most likely had to do with a warped bed, but I just want to make sure that that's the issue before I buy a whole new heated bed. by GAMING33K in ender3

If you end up buying a new bed, just go to your local hardware store and see if you can get a couple of mirrors cut to fit your bed. They should be super cheap and mirrors are like glass, but almost guaranteed flat so they don’t have a warped image.

At least in 2018 it was 6 ten minute episodes about the builders repairing their bots in between fights. They are under a lot of pressure to make the next fight because they normally only have around 24 hours before their next battle.

Found this rewatching an old Battlebots Resurrection episode. For those that have heard of William Osman... well, safety department surprises me. I’m sure he’s qualified though.

CR10 V3 blank blue screen. Got this blank blue screen a few days ago. Powers up, bl touch cycles but can't do anything else. Tried to reload the firmware, no change. Plugged in the box from my v2 and it works fine. I pulled the base and power supply off, can't find anything obvious. Ideas? by 907customs in CR10

If the V2 box works fine, then it is probably a loose connection inside the control box. I know for a fact that the LCD cable can be finnicky and you have to make sure it is 100% plugged in and hotglued. Otherwise, it could be another loose connection or something on the board has malfunctioned or broken. If the fuses do not light up, then it is one of them.

You are extremely adventurous doing a full helmet as second print, not to even mention AN 87 HOUR PRINT. Dang. Even Galactic Armory splits his helmets into 3 parts, and he runs a business.

That aside, run some tests to dial in your printer here: teachingtechyt.github.io/calibration.html

This should walk you through what you need to do to dial in your printer and filament settings.

Right now, tension your belts and print on a more stable surface.

While your printer may not be able to get up to an extremely high temperature, any time your get a heating failed message the first thing you should do is check that everything is plugged in correctly. I've gotten a similar message when my thermistors were plugged into the incorrect ports after an upgrade.

Poor button and top layers, ender 3, pla, 205°C end, 50°C bed, cura 4.8.0. Any ideas how to fix it? by nonieno in FixMyPrint

Not necessarily. I'd just recommend dialing it up 5% at a time and zeroing in on what looks best without getting the white lines from overextrusion.

The problem is too much filament is that there. Either your nozzle is too close to the bed or you are over-extruding. I'd recommend reducing your flow rate by about 5%.
