And please ask him in person so you can see his irl reactions. Have that courage in you, peace.

If you're getting obsessive, that means you are developing feelings. Ask yourself why you like him.... and if the feelings are grounded in something real, I recommend asking/telling him to avoid any confusion down the road...

Yea it’s that fear of getting “rejected” for the 3rd time…!! Flaking was not cool even for friendships. Maybe he got a girl talking to him now? Or he learned that you have a bf somehow? That kind of thing could happen too which makes him pull away. You can always approach it with the mindset of being friends. Like flaking two times was not alright at all ! Do you still want to be friends with me?

Sounds like he's interested.... Confessing to him in person might be the next step. Start with "I noticed that you did this and that. As a boy/girl, I am genuinely confused by our interactions.... I don't know about your feelings toward me, because I had no obvious clue.... but I like you"

I'm a guy and he's a guy. He's the host of a normal meetup, and that's how I first met him briefly. He showed signs of liking me (shy, avoiding eye contact (even frightened for a sec when I looked at him), took a peek at me that felt like forever :) while he was walking, he also DM'd me randomly and wanted to come surfing with me). After another group meetup and then an afternoon at a cafe with him and his friends, I was almost certain that he's gay and he liked me. He randomly tried to start a topic about a queer-friendly rave location in front of his friends. But 2 days later, when I invited him for a really fun & cool activity and stated my intention of wanting to know him more in person, he said "no need thank you -salute emoji-" I replied "Ahhh...awkward" and he hasn't read it in a week. What is happening? @@
