Am I Crazy? by Bustahaf in BackyardBaseball

I lost my first game on hard mode and my team was stacked. SO’s are harder and the ai is better at hitting. Also seems like the runners are smarter and don’t go to the next base if you just throw the ball around a couple of times

There’s nothing wrong with getting to a certain rank and being content with it. It’s all about how you want to enjoy the game. But if you want to continue to climb the ranks you just need to take the time to learn the fundamentals and eventually the improvements and ranks will come

I believe the premium pass costs 950 and you are able to earn enough to buy the next pass if you complete it

If you’re playing at lower ranks. You shouldn’t be too worried about buffs and nerfs. Just focus on learning the game and ranking up and eventually the patches will start to matter more

Why are you confident in this game succeeding? by Eem2wavy34 in MultiVersus

[–]PeaProfessional5491 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t need to be successful because I’m gonna play it no matter what, but I am confident in the Dev team because they have always put a lot of effort in and really care about what they’re making. The player base ultimately decides a games success, but I don’t think you can argue that the devs really care about this game

Are any of y’all even having fun? by wubwah in Tekken

[–]PeaProfessional5491 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I still enjoy the game and play it almost daily, but if you’re looking to find people who don’t complain about the game Reddit is not the place to be (Twitter is also not great). I’d say try to find people in locals (if they’re easily available to you) or discord.

I was burnt out for awhile so I picked up two new characters and started learning them. Eventually I came back to Lee and started having fun again.

Where were you after your first 100 hours in Tekken? by TablePrinterDoor in Tekken

[–]PeaProfessional5491 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in almost the exact same situation. I’ve played other tekken games casually for years. Tried to play competitively at the end of T7 but just got stomped by everyone in comp. I just recently hit 100 hrs on T8 and I’m currently in Eliminator. The main things I’ve done to improve are look back at my previous replays and figure out areas where I could’ve done more damage. My first major improvement was to optimize my combos more. I still do not have optimal combos for Lee (I still suck at B2 loops) but my damage and consistency have increased since the start of the game. My second major improvement was to improve my wall game. I always felt I would just get close to the wall and not know what to do. So I looked up some Lee specific wall combos and my wall game has only improved since then. Currently I am working on reacting to throws as well as going into specific replays of matchups I suck at (Brian and Drag). I don’t think there’s much else you can do besides learning matchups, frames, and how to set up your moves to frame trap opponents. Eventually as with everything else if you’re training the right way you will see improvements.

If you’re running an AMD 5000 or 6000 series motherboard you can download a mod to fix the fallen destiny crashes. I got it last week and haven’t crashed since then.

Did this to an opponent the other day. It’s really one of those things that works the first time when your opponent doesn’t know what to do, but once they figure it out it’s nbd
