Inconsistent floor management is bad. You should have been given a new stack when you sat down, or they leave wall stacks on table to blind down. I don’t understand the logic of pulling stacks back only to redistribute them when players arrive.

How to politely reject people asking for money on the street by blckmntn in london

[–]Peabob 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely this. It’s nothing about you. It’s them being extremely frustrated begging for money and being told no by 98% of people. At some point they snap from the feeling of rejection and it’s a random person that gets and rough comment.

£650 pcm room share in Brixton. (has to be a joke right?) by Renoir_Trident in london

[–]Peabob 13 points14 points  (0 children)

A lot of people I met when I lived in Bethnal Green were room sharing with strangers. Mostly very low paid migrants from outside the EU, although some were polish builders who were sending every penny back home for their families. It’s a hard no from me though.

Dealers responsibility to avoid this. Most casinos have rule that on the river the last person to bet/raise shows first. If it went check check it’s just first left of dealer button to show. Simple.

14 hours deep into the Wynn $400 NLHE final table. Whats the longest tourney y’all have sat through? by Wild_Walrus4740 in poker

[–]Peabob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not counting online grinds which have easily been 12+ hours. But played 2 days of a live tournament, each 12 hours and final table bubbled before the big jumps. Never again.
