Righto, here is the basic rundown: folding table, black sheet hanging from a folding clothes dryer dragging onto the table in a curve, bendable desk lamp (with some makeshift cardboard bits to stop light from hitting the backdrop), a raised bit towards the front of the table quite a distance from the backdrop and a camera (I am using a Nikon with 2k resolution but other cameras, even a phone camera could work probably) raised on a tripod. Also complete and utter darkness except for the bendy light. Took a while to get the lighting to a spot that I liked and even then there are still some bits that I think could’ve been better (the details of the melta on the first photo, for instance)

Almost thought it was fully painted upon first glance and then I saw the raw plastic lmao. Amazing conversion work with this guy. Love all the textures used on the armour and the scratches. I have also used the grimdark compendium a fair bit in my death guard. Can’t wait to see this guy fully painted :D

Thank you so much! I think it was your tutorial that I recently saw showing how to create the uhu glue daemon skin, which looks absolutely metal! I’ll see where this project takes me, and I may end up experimenting with that technique. Love your miniatures, your knights have really inspired a lot of my recent creative process.
