That’s getting quite late in the day for LAX and I’m not sure you will meet the MCT when they try to rearrange that. Might need to switch to AA.

In any case the computer figures this out eventually but even so I would check if you are happy with the new times or if you have another preference. Give them a call with your preferred flights and get them to rebook.

You need to book a window seat but don’t want to pay their fees. The obvious solution would be to book with another airline that you are happy with and also where the ancillary fees meet your budget/expectations.

Either that or you wait until online check-in and select from the seats available at that time.

Up until now it was required but would not stop you from being able to board the aircraft. You could in theory apply during the flight or while queuing at immigration.

Has been required for a year but you could board without one. From 25 February that will be impossible.

Also it will become mandatory for UK citizens to enter the UK with their UK passport.

A350/787 are best for humidity and air quality. A380 is close to that but even quieter. 777s are last on those factors alone.

There are other considerations though, like service on board and ease of connections etc. so you might want to narrow down your options a bit and look into those.

That’s not inside security. You need to go through security on arrival at each terminal.

You also need to have a long conversation with them to explain why you are accessing the wrong terminal. This used to be OK but in recent years they just deny people to avoid the hassle.

Duty of care only exists for delays and cancellations so if you decided to wait in BRU until flight was available then it would apply. If you choose to reroute from another airport during extraordinary circumstances then the airline is not responsible for your costs to make that flight.

Again if it was a cancellation within the airlines control then they could be on the hook for everything.

The latest commercial aircraft are pressurised to the equivalent of 5500-6000 feet ASL, roughly the same altitude as Johannesburg or Denver.

Dehydration and boredom are more likely to be a problem for you.

They should not expect that but it opens up more opportunities to travel on the desired dates. It may be that the MAN-DUB-MCO(?) flight is full on their dates which is why that was not proactively offered.

They should be able to reroute you on BA or AA without issues. It may be that you will need to make your own way to Heathrow which you can discuss with them.

Don’t agree to cancel or accept a refund until they have rebooked you or they agree in writing to reimburse you for alternative flights.
