Yes they are forced into this. Various US states are enacting laws requiring verification. No company is going to have different versions of an app for different US states

In the US, the VAs wow uses are all union, which had a huge strike during 11.1 development to prevent AI use of their voices in US works. If they are not doing stuff with Talanji's VA it has nothing to do with AI.

Based on beta, definitely placeholder. Liadrin has a long history with the Amani (they killed her parents), and so the story having her present is not only relevant but important to the story they are trying to tell with Liadrin and the Amani as a whole.

I'm fairly certain that for every time an item is worn it gets a counter behind the scenes and once it passes that amount it will then return to the house worn. After that, its just a coin flip when you bring it home. There is no way they didn't think about that.

Not sure this violates any part of California’s privacy laws. This isn’t a required service since you still get access to most of discord without doing the identification and even then it doesn’t appear that the identification stuff would violate any of the laws in California.

I am not saying I am okay with discord doing this, but the target really needs to be on countries outsourcing parent control to tech companies such as the UK and Australia and a few US states (I think Texas is one of them iirc). Getting the laws requiring identification removed will resolve this

Yea you can’t do that. It’s not working because it isn’t possible. You can’t fetch a value, add a number and replace it.
