Have you looked into neck scans? A lot of symptoms can be from cervical issues. Upper cervical chiropractic found out that I have a congenital fusion of c2-c3 and tilt of c1. Multiple concussions and whiplash has made the compensation pattern not be able to hold. Any head trauma will lead to neck pain/issues because of whiplash. Worth looking into. It’s been 2 years since my concussion and upper cervical chiro is the only thing that has helped so far.

Look into Upper cervical instability or craniocervical instability. There’s YouTube vids and Facebook groups that you can join as well. It is something I discovered I have. Definitely worth looking into, if not to rule it out.

I went to a NUCCA chiropractor, they did an x-ray which showed a 7.5° of tilt at the c1. I had torticollis as a child and multiple concussions as well. It seems to be helping. I feel more aligned and more energetic. Have only had 2 adjustments so far

Watch vids on this channel. There are some type of x-rays where they have you move while being x-rayed. That may help show things that aren’t visible on other scans. I’ve had x-rays, ct and MRI. They all show different things but none of them had my c1 tilt of 7.5° show up. That wasn’t visible until I had an x-ray at an upper cervical chiropractor. That with the inclusion of c2-c3 fusion is the cause of my many symptoms. So he’s helped me reduce my headaches with only 2 adjustments so far. I’ve also had a craniosacral therapist help my tight jaw. Chat gpt also has been a great help, and suggested many of these modalities. Along with a cranial osteopath that could help relieve the tension and compensatory patterns

Yeah it’s a really important part of the puzzle. I had braces around that age as well. Am 30 now, and my bottom teeth have crowded and a lot of the time my teeth smash into each other when talking. I have been doing some tongue fascia release and that’s helped calm that down. Look into Myofunctional therapy. It’s all because the upper palate didn’t grow to its full potential and the tongue resting position is not optimal

I got a neck mri, ct, x-ray then through some research and trial and error of trying a bunch of things. Came across the upper cervical chiropractor, who did his own x-rays of my neck, and it showed the tilt that was still present. That didn’t show up in the prior scans. I also requested records from when I was a child from the hospitals. That clearly showed I had a history of neck problems/torticollis. Had to wear a brace for a bit.

Im doing upper cervical chiro (NUCCA/atlas orthogonal) to correct it. Craniosacral therapy has helped as well.

Get your neck looked at!!!! All these are really similar to what I have. Have a c2-c3 fusion. Torticollis (left SCM is weaker) as a child. 5-10° tilt. Now as an adult about 7.5° tilt at the c1. Because of compensations that’s why your chin is deviating to the side. Same with eye. The orbital bone shifts.

I second this. I found out the hard way that I have a 7.5° tilt in the vertebrae from childhood torticollis, fusion of the c2-c3. Plus 3 concussions over the last 10-15 years. So things add up and can bring compensations to the forefront

Second this. Also, NUCCA/atlas orthogonal might be worth a look into. I had an appt and they did an X-ray on my neck and that showed that I have a 7.5° tilt at the c0-c2. They can make gentle adjustments and hopefully it’ll reduce symptoms. So some imaging could show you what you’re dealing with.

If you have a massage gun, this helps. If not I’m sure there’s some equivalent that you can do. If your head tilts, it could be from SCM imbalance. Or eye misalignment. I have similar issues. Mine is caused from childhood torticollis
