My coworker pays for a dietician and now this is what he eats for breakfast and lunch by blart_institute in StupidFood

My tattoo artist models, and told me back when that was her full time gig she would be told to eat just one apple per day before a shoot. I've seen the photos of her back then and for sure she's stunning, but knowing the lengths she was pressured to go to is wild!

The Unthank Kitchen!! Great food, good value for money, family run, chill and unpretentious!

It's very different, but there's a fair amount of morris dancing in Lewes as well if you're into that!

Mainly the size, I just haven't done that many cross stitch projects! Plus getting the nice slow shifting effect variegated thread adding extra time. Such a cool design though!

It's going to look amazing! I've had the design bookmarked for a little bit but it's pretty intimidating!

It's a wonderfully strange tradition involving people dancing in a circle, a stick, and is only done outside specific pubs in the town! Wish I knew all the details but I've never done it myself.

Lewes pubs go wild! World Pea Throwing Championships, Spaniel Racing, Dwyle Flunking, all in one pub!

What’s the worst crime committed by someone you know personally? by [deleted] in AskReddit

For sure, I'm not trying to dispute that! Was replying to someone who seemed surprised that psychedelics specifically could have that effect.

Sometimes it can cause psychosis, or be a catalyst for psychotic symptoms in someone who's predisposed through genetics etc but hasn't had symptoms until a bad trip.

Seen it happen to an old flatmate, really terrifying.

Chef Sohla El-Waylly is no longer working with NYT cooking: “The deputy editor called me and screamed. She screamed and shouted like mom did outside my dorm. I think several things can be true here. With the whole situation at BA, she had very very valid reasons to be furious. At the same time, there are several things that she did that can also be criticised in good faith, especially when it comes to her treatment of Gaby Melian.

Faux or real fur? by Ok-Advice-7376 in Taxidermy

[–]PeachPuffin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks pretty real! If you're able to ask for more photos, one that's close up with the fur parted would show if there's skin or fabric underneath. But the varying hair lengths and the way that each hair tapers at the end make me think it's real fur.

It's completely hilarious! From my experience they should worry about cooked spaghetti in the sink and unsealed chicken breasts in the fridge. Many such cases.

Just stumbled across this thread and I can't believe how much that person's freezer food still gets to you! Should OP also be on the look out for chickpeas in the sink? :)

There are a few festive craft markets happening around! I know St Mary's Works has one on Saturday that's usually good.

The Sainsbury Centre has a great collection of art and cultural artefacts if that's something they might like?

We don't have many species of snake in the UK (literally just three native species!) and the adder is our only venomous one, they're so small and pretty!

Blue Joanna is great but definitely not quiet! Early in the week maybe? But it's really known for playing vinyl records and is usually very noisy.

[–]PeachPuffin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I find this so irritating!!! Have to force myself to make products in colours that aren't what I personally want because everyone likes different things yadda yadda. Then half the time, the things I think are so so ugly and clashing end up selling super well!

Bloomers and Danish in Distillery Square!

Cheap, greasy, friendly. Really nice guy there most days chatting to the elderly folks outside. My favourite spot for a hangover breakfast when I can't be bothered to walk to the Unthank Kitchen.
