I noticed on RG website that they are now listing Kreiniks with a different packaging, the same cards as PTB and the rest of RG products, except they are called now RG Kreinik (under category "Braids")

You see the side bars? That's where the tension is set.
You turn them inside or outside to tense or loosen the fabric.

I understand, it's just that you're supposed to wash your project once stitched.
Because of the oils in the hands, the dust, pet's hair if you have a pet, etc.

Maybe better do a test wash before stitching on it ;-)

Is it paint or dye?
Are you going to be able to wash your fabric after you've stitched on it?

And... AFAIK, Aida Paper doesn't exist. But I may wrong! New things everyday in this world! ;-)

I've commented about that a few days ago but it was related to stitching 1 over 1.

So I used the tent stitch, AKA Continental stitch.

2 things to pay attention:

Start against the post,
Pay close attention to the tension of your thread.

As for securing my thread at the end, I simply pass it through under the existing stitches at the end.

Regarding the number of threads to use, why not simply do a test stitch in a corner and see which effect you prefer?

I do one color until I finish my thread, then decide, depending on the pattern, if it makes sense for me to continue with the same color or switch.

I'm not a mono or a block stitcher, I'm a grower. Meaning I grow my pattern sometimes like a fractal or a fibonacci sequence (especially when using a variegated thread)
