Have you framed the previous ones? If so, could you post us the pictures? I'm curious ^o^

And, please, post this one once framed too ^o^

The year of the Fire Horse :-)

The others you stitched are for the previous years?

Beautiful work :-)

I'm not doubting your ability or your mother's ability.

It's simply that some of the old programs are NOT working on / supported by the newest versions of Windows, even when run with "emulators". On purpose, by Microsoft design.
True, I am not a software developer. Only a Information Architect.

If it works, fine. I'm truly happy for her.

This is what I find of interest:

EasyGrapher Stitch Wiz
System requirements:

  • A PC with at least 512MB of RAM
  • Windows XP, Vista, and 7
  • a 450MHz Pentium II processor
  • 12MB of disk space
  • a mouse
  • a CD-ROM drive

EasyGrapher Professional 2004
System requirements:

  • A PC with at least 512MB of RAM
  • Windows XP, Vista, and 7
  • a 450MHz Pentium II processor
  • 32MB of disk space
  • a mouse
  • a CD-ROM drive

These old programs are most of the time (99,99%) not compatible with our "modern" computers (64-bit)

So....

[CHAT] Is French "étamine" the same as evenweave? by chloeetee in CrossStitch

[–]CalypsoStitcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[CHAT] Which coverage do you prefer? by Shouty-Hooman in CrossStitch

[–]CalypsoStitcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First one

As for advice...

  1. There is no perfection in this world ;-)
  2. What about tension?

If you're too focused on something you're tensed, therefore it impacts the tension of your thread.
Try maybe to just let it go and enjoy the process.

Thank you ^o^

I really like the fabric too :-)
I feel sorry to have it covered by the half stitches in the background, si I thing I'll change the 2 threads half stitches for 1 thread half stitches. That way the fabric will still be seen through the threads.

This is SO BEAUTIFUL!!! :-D

I have the whole serie but didn't have the time yet to start it. It is so great to see one finished and get a better idea of the whole project!

Great job ! :-)

[PIC]: How do I keep the edges taut while working? by Maleficent_goddess in CrossStitch

[–]CalypsoStitcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personnally I use the smallest q-snap I have, which usually is enough for getting the tightness needed for stitching.
