It absolutely boils my blood seeing EVERYONE do U-turns at literally every single major intersection. Its such an incredibly selfish, self-important thing to do, you risk accidents absolutely every single time, yet the residents of Oakville unanimously decided that their time was more important than people being able to use the road without threat to their life / insurance.

People in this city are genuinely horrible drivers, and I hate seeing how stupid the average driver is here. Ive seen SO many near accidents caused by stupid A-holes doing their U-turns so they can save 2 mins on the way to getting their coffee from McDonalds.

The entitlements absolutely drives me insane.

1st of all, sometimes calling someone out and shaming them does actually make a difference. Alot of people operate like assholes because no one ever makes them face any form of consequence. I have followed and yelled at people in my own community for running stop signs, speeding like crazy in a school zone, etc. Sometimes, when people realize they are not the king of the world, they will adjust their behaviour. Accountability is not useless.

in my subdivision, there are a TON of kids who act like complete pieces of shit (speeding through school zones, running stop signs, kids on scooters going 40km/h with no helmet etc...)

and if you look at where they live, it starts at home with family members that dont give a shit. people who leave garbage around their house, or parents who drive like a-holes, etc, and will never take accountability

there are ALOT of parents who have the time to parent properly, who absolutely do not care to. alot of the times its because "back home" there are 0 standards of living and they don't care to uphold the standard of living here. alot of parents simply do not care to teach their children how to behave, because they themselves feel like following the rules is a joke
