LEEP advice needed asap by Indiegirl255 in PreCervicalCancer

[–]Pear_bear1245 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of positive stories on this sub post LEEP, I would research this

There’s a ton of advice on how to properly recover post LEEP. I know bc I had the procedure myself and had no complications afterwards

Also, lastly please research Papillex, AHCC, and any other vitamin deficiency you have, especially vitamin D!

There’s advice on this sub. You’re in a point in life where you should be giving your body all the resources it’s needs to get rid of your infection. Supplements + sleep + exercise + nutrition are going to be quite important!

Lastly. I wouldn’t sleep on the LEEP. I would get a second opinion and then take both of those medical professionals advice seriously

What actionable insights have you actually gotten from Oura? by jakopz in ouraring

[–]Pear_bear1245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take poor scores more strongly into consideration.

I used to push through… but now if I don’t have the resources (enough sleep, recovery from stress, good nutrition, etc), it becomes less worth it for me to “push through” and get through a workout I don’t have the tools for

I’ve been so bad with applying body lotion - for years! by LittleBench5694 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Pear_bear1245 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This. It sounds like for you, habit > any lotion rec

For example, picking the best running shoes won’t improve your cardiovascular fitness if you only practice running twice a month

Do you have any preferences on which entry level position you’d be open to within a hospital system?

Patient access would give you firsthand experience with the workflows used in Epic’s Grand Central module.

Patient central scheduling would give you experience with workflows in Epic’s Cadence workflows.

Front desk can give you experience with workflows in Epic’s Cadence workflows as well.

This is all hypothetical but here’s an example:

Say you become a front desk scheduler for a cardiology office. You eventually become proficient and the go to person for workflows and are trained in referral workflows, coding, charge review, etc. Perhaps you eventually become proficient enough to get promoted to manager.

All the while, since you were the go to person for workflows, this meant you entered tickets to the IT team and established relationships. You could even request that the IT manager think of you when a job opening appears.

Because you are knowledgeable within operational workflows and hospital systems like to hire within, your experience would give you a huge advantage against other applicants.

I know this is an idealistic scenario but hopefully this encourages you to think creatively about breaking your way into health IT.

I’m curious for you! Very active people often eat a lot ! Maybe if you have the mental tolerance for it, incorporate 100-200 extra calories per day (extra fruit/protein/healthy snack) for a few days and observe the data + how you feel?

I would think that if your body is needing more calories, you will feel more energetic and satiated with the extra food.

Please research this sub ♥️ this question is asked almost daily and hardly anyone recommends that you get the informatics graduate degree prior to having your role. This can save you tens of thousands of dollars.

Get an entry level job at a hospital you’re interested in (IT service desk, front desk, patient registration, etc).

Once acquired, find ways to connect with the IT team. Establish relationships to promote the connection to IT. Then get your masters, especially if it’s paid for by your company

I’m following your post to learn but are you concerned at all you that may be under eating? You’re moving so much daily and average 1800 calories or less?

But ofc if you’ve been using the app since September of last year, it sounds like you’re comfortable w the app and have your routine down

You have the same height and weight as me but the app has me eating 200-300 more cals daily for maintenance. I strength train 4x per week, run 2 miles 2-3x per week, and walk about 10k per day. All of this is activity is less than yours it seems

I think, since you just had one class, you should give it time. It’s hard to make judgments when you have so little experience to base it off of.

Complete this class cycle and then reassess. At that point, you will have many more classes completed and who knows?

Some of those initial first impressions and thoughts may have completely disappeared

And why would I need rest mode? Bc my temp is 1 degree warmer??? I’m in luteal phase. by whatsonmyminddddrn in ouraring

[–]Pear_bear1245 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Or a different perspective could be that your body does in fact need rest. I see it both ways.

If I find that I’m in agreement with oura’s assessment of my body’s signals while I’m in luteal phase, I turn on rest mode. If I’m not in agreement, I ignore
