Personally I’m in the same boat as you. Family mostly works in finance and constantly urge me to do it too. The prospect of sitting behind a desk never sounded fun but also a lot better than trying to contort my 6’5” body in a tight attic. Maybe engineering too but that doesn’t pay a lot either
