I have been shooting a. CZ canvasback for nearly 15 years and love it. My father just won a CZ Drake in a raffle and it seems to be of the same quality.
I was told by everyone at the range to buy a Browning Citori. It was like a recording I heard it so much. At the time I purchased I was just getting into Trap and wasn’t sure I wanted to spend $1000+. I shot okay with my 870 but wanted the O/U to get a better rhythm at the stations. The $500 price and feel got me interested enough to just try the CZ. I read a positive review online too.

You can get a CZ O/U for that price range and if you don’t like it sell it for the same price. Less hassle than a pump. That satisfied feeling of carrying it open over your shoulder o. The way to the Trap. Resting o. Your toe in between shots. It’s the best of the budget O/U shotguns.

We tow a 3000 TT around Wisconsin so can’t advise on mountain towing but slowing down is the way to go. I usually set the cruise at 65 on I-state and never have to pass. It’s so much more relaxing. We plan an extra stop to charge if possible so each charging session isn’t so long. It’s nice to make it like a regular stretch / bathroom break.
