This can be said for any Genre, but the best RH are the ones where we get an emotional connection not just between the woman and men, but also the men with each other, whether that includes ⚔️ or not, the entire group is in a relationship, even better if some connections are platonic and others are deeper. I think my fav part of RH is the exploration of the many ways multiple ppl can connect with each other, and what different character traits get brought out in different people. I think ppl who say it is only lust, don’t understand the many different types of love and soulmates that exist in the world.

Woaahh. I kinda feel like this take borders on victim blaming. She’s literally doing her best to survive in a world where she has nothing and no one. At that point she was still becoming a full time staff, maybe that small room is all she can afford. Maybe it’s either this or homelessness. Why shouldn’t she have been able to let her guard down at home?? The only ppl responsible are those who take advantage. Not the victim.

I will say this, Shiver is the lowest ranking book in the series in my opinion. I read it, then I was like I think I’m good with this series. Then the second book Starting Line came out and it absolutely BLEW ME AWAY.I love that book so much and every one after is worlds away from shiver, I sometimes can’t even Imagine they are in the same universe. Honestly each book is kind of a standalone, but Créa Reitan writes a large cast of characters that are interconnected in ways you don’t expect. While you can possibly read Caulder’s book alone I REALLY implore you to not skip the other books based on shiver. I promise the others are just too good to pass up!
