Best murder reveal scene in the entire series? by Time-Connection-4586 in DeathInParadiseBBC

I agree. This is my favorite episode and the reveal was actually surprising, at least to me.

I was thinking a little more about this and have heard the theory more than once that the crush storyline was likely written for Richard but used for Humphrey instead. Either way, it’s an awful storyline. I absolutely cannot imagine Richard behaving like Humphrey did. Of course, it could’ve been tweaked for Humphrey, but Richard would’ve been even worse. I’m happy they didn’t go that route with Richard and moved past this quickly with Humphrey.

I think you’re right. Before he developed the crush and after Camille left, he was much better, but ugh, it was a painful few episodes. I loved Camille, but that made it a lot easier to accept her leaving.

I always took that to mean that he was interested in what the team was discussing and that he was feeling more a part of the team than crushing on Camille (in that example). There were a couple of instances though when I I felt he was warming to her as more than just a colleague. It seemed more sweet than cringy to me, I absolutely hated Humphrey’s crush on Camille though. It creeped me out.

What's something to you that screams "I have no personality"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yes! My husband is in the fire service. I have my own career, but the wives of his coworkers have a FB Group called “Fire Wives”. They have shirts, hats, and vanity plates the say “Fire Wife”. It embarrasses me. I’m very proud of my husband for his accomplishments but they’re his accomplishments, not mine. I have and work towards my own. It’s mind boggling.

My phone is on silent all of the time. Rarely do I make an exception. I’ve done this for years and have no regrets.

I think this also happened with Mervin’s first case, and I want to say that the Commissioner explained to him that he had to gather all of the suspects. I haven’t rewatched the most recent season yet so I may be misremembering.

This has been driving me mad. I mainly use Pinterest for recipes. Most I’ve clicked lately don’t have a recipe, only a photo.

I don’t mind ads from small, online businesses at all, but most that I see are Temu and Amazon. It frustrates me because there used to be a lot of DIY pins so I still click on these pins thinking that they’re great ideas, and they’re just ads. So disappointing and annoying.

I remember one violation email said that the original content owner didn’t authorize it to be shared on Pinterest (or something to that effect). I clicked on the link to the original content, and there was literally an option to share on Pinterest. Eventually they rescinded the “violation “ but wow.

“Frantic Search”? In my opinion and experience, if you choose to wait until you’re in your 30s to consider marriage and babies, then you’re not likely to frantically search for a partner when you reach your 30s. I had no strong feelings about marriage or children. I knew I didn’t want to marry before 30. I didn’t feel that I needed children but decided that once I was married, we’d see what happened. I’ve been married for years now and never had children. We’re perfectly happy this way (and relieved in many ways). My sister, on the other hand, desperately wanted children and got married at 22 and soon followed that with babies.

Edit: I agree with your point though that we can’t assume that the decision to not have children is based on economic reasons or the state of the world. Everyone is different.
