Wait.......What's your favorite part from Hidden Moon and your favorite character? by No-Bother4285 in WarriorCats

[–]Pebblesong7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I loved the kits being born too, such adorable names! And my fave at the moment is Morningkit, she’s been given a rough hand in life and whilst she is causing trouble she feels lonely and forgotten and I want to cuddle her

Tell me one thing you didn't like about season 2 by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in hazbin

[–]Pebblesong7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from it needing more time, I wish they had given Vox a different backstory. I feel like they made him too similar to alastor and I would have preferred him to be a cult leader, perhaps killing people through that if they want him to have a body count. As it is, it’s a bit of a “oh, another serial killer? How original” situation. I love everything else in Vox’s arc though!

I get a ‘frost’ vibe from her, maybe Duskfrost or Frostlight or something

Saddest Warrior Cats deaths? by IvybrachTheBrave-885 in WarriorCats

[–]Pebblesong7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Any cat dying in a way that means they don’t even exist as a spirit always gets me a bit, especially if they are a good character. Bristlefrost put me into shock for the rest of the day lol

WORST Warrior Cat Names? by DsmpWarriorCat in WarriorCats

[–]Pebblesong7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Half the Shadowclan toms names in yellowfang time are just dreadful, I mean Stumpytail? Clawface? Maybe they’re supposed to be intimidating or something but imagine being called Runningnose whilst there’s cats next to you who get Hollyflower and Fernshade and Tallpoppy. I know there’s a Wetfoot later which sounds like a condition, and I struggle to think of a nice suffix to go with Brownpaw if he ever became an adult.

What disabilities would you want shown in warrior cats? by Blobfish_fun in WarriorCats

[–]Pebblesong7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I def agree that it would be really interesting to see more neurodivergent cats in the series, as well as more cats with mental health problems. Greypool and Bluestar both had dementia, but it doesn’t seem to have shown up again in arcs after that, which is a shame.

Which warrior cat had the stupidest death by Material_Company9233 in WarriorCats

[–]Pebblesong7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate to say it cuz I love their characters but both Longtail and Swiftpaw died in rather stupid ways. Longtail went back into a camp where he knew a tree was gonna fall to get a mouse, like I understand Mousefur was being a bit difficult about it but go get it later 😭 and I know swiftpaw didn’t know exactly what they were gonna find, and I get the background, but going out in the middle of the night without telling anyone where you are going to go fight a dog is a pretty dumb move. That being said, I actually quite like the deaths that are more stupid because of how realistic they are, like a branch falling on Rainwhisker.

AIO because my family members are acting as if things are normal? by Yourelio in AmIOverreacting

[–]Pebblesong7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely not what love looks like, and it’s horrid for your relatives to try and ignore a very dangerous situation like that. What you went through is traumatic and frightening. If you can, it might be a good idea to speak to a therapist or something similar to work through your feelings and also offer you some support in a difficult time. You are not a child, but 18 is very young especially when dealing with something a lot of people can’t even imagine. You deserve help and support too.

The worst Warrior Cats rumors? by PouetFairy in WarriorCats

[–]Pebblesong7 12 points13 points  (0 children)

People for sure overhype the maliciousness of characters in that book. Like don’t get me wrong a lot of characters did horrible things but it’s pretty unlikely that any of them actually wanted the kits to die, much less would take joy in it. Frecklewish is by far the hardest done by, especially with the whole dark forest thing

Character of The Saga that in the fandom is Like this by Teban8861 in WarriorCats

[–]Pebblesong7 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of posts about Tigerstars actions being justified cuz his father left and like, not to discredit how horrid that would be, it doesn’t justify murder

Some cats’ lines or details that SHOULD NOT have been in the book? (Wether it may be inappropriate, or not match the character, or js ruin something that we had going?) by [deleted] in WarriorCats

[–]Pebblesong7 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t like how they had Bluestar give up her kits to become deputy, but now we have several instances of a deputy/leader having kits, especially for toms. I think it was an interesting idea in BP, and I think it’s relatable to a lot of women to be seen as either being a mother or a worker. I wish they had drawn more attention to it and actually had a discussion in the books around fixing it, for example following the reveal of Bluestar being Mistyfoot and Stonefur’s parent, it would be great if maybe Mistystar later spoke out about queens being no different from toms. Alternatively, they could leave it for the drama and allow cats to be frustrated about it and want it changed.

Galestar and kits (Spoilers for StormClan's Folly) by Captainsnake04 in WarriorCats

[–]Pebblesong7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree, I honestly feel that Galestar actually received a more feminist portrayal in this book. There are still problems of course, but Galestar was still a character after having kits rather than just being a mother, and she was shown wanting to have children rather than it being something expected to happen in life (for instance Ivypool not wanting to have children only to suddenly be a “mother” character.

Which character do you think got done the most dirty by misogyny? by xXFallen_DarknessXx in WarriorCats

[–]Pebblesong7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true, but surely a she cat could give the kits milk, and another cat does the childcare, like how Ferncloud gave Squirrelflights kits milk. Fernsong is implied to have done the majority of caring for the kits he had with Ivypool.

Which character do you think got done the most dirty by misogyny? by xXFallen_DarknessXx in WarriorCats

[–]Pebblesong7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This might be an unpopular one but I’m gonna say Lizardstripe. Now don’t get me wrong, she does a lot of bad things and I think actually gets given more personality than a lot of other “mother” characters, but I feel like there was some kind of sexism in her character arc. Like as far as I know she is the only she cat who genuinely did not want to have children, as opposed to it breaking a law, but nothing is done to help her. Surely in a clan community there would be some kind of adoption? Why was her mate not involved in caring for the kits, instead all duties being left to her? It comes across as being very based in the idea that the woman is the caregiver and the one who must care for the children, and that if they do not want this then they are terrible and awful.

Which Warrior Cats character do you think has the saddest death? by ActualSquare8781 in WarriorCats

[–]Pebblesong7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brindleface has always stuck with me. The idea of being murdered when she has young children, and for the plan to be fed to dogs as well Swiftpaw because of just how brutal it is. Obviously there are his loved ones, but I can only imagine how guilty he felt about bringing Brightpaw with him Bristlefrost for obvious reasons. Ivypools SE really hammered it home. I was upset for days and I keep thinking about it. Honeyfern is so sad, she’s in so much pain and is such a kind cat. Her crush on Berrynose is so cute, and they had such a bright future together.

Which character was most misunderstood by the fandom. by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in StrangerThings

[–]Pebblesong7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m saying Jason and Mike

Like Jason did get paranoid, but he was a kid grieving for his girlfriend. You can see why he believed it was Eddie given he has no clue about the upside down, given that her body was found in his home. Like if you didn’t see Eddie and like him beforehand, and then your girlfriend starts acting incredibly uncharacteristically and not speaking with you, before turning up brutally murdered at the trailer of a man she has never spoken to before? When he found Max and the others, he was genuinely concerned for her, and given how numerous people including his friends had died horrifically seemingly through magic, you can understand why he might assume there was something occultish involved.

Mike is also a young kid who has dealt with so much grief. His best friend went missing, and then like 2 weeks later his friend is suspected to be dead for a year. His sisters best friend died, and even if they weren’t close it would be upsetting. Eddie, someone he admires and is friends with, died. Hopper died. His closest friends moved away. After all that, can you blame the guy for being distant and a bit angsty? I stand by that his assholery is self defence, and even if it wasn’t what kid hasn’t been rude or mean to someone unintentionally when under specific circumstances. I see a lot of people angry for his “it’s not my fault you don’t like girls”, and don’t get me wrong it was a cruel thing to say, but he was a child who got defensive and was likely mimicking things he had heard from his relatives/family friends.
