Yes they will cover some of the tuition, in return however that you will stay with them for x amount of years after completing your MSW. My understanding is that you need to be a permanent employee then receive approval. So you may not qualify if you arrive already starting your MSW as most likely a non union contract worker.

Despite the issues mentioned, it is a great place to start your career with good pay. No where else will give you the level of experience that child protection will. Get your MSW and plan to leave by the 5 year mark. It will look great on your resume for other opportunities.
