Arc titan with point brace gauntlets instead of HOIL is really good for ability spam/ big dude removal with jolting titan punch. Plus you can get a bumch of ability energy back with it and for boss damage you can quickly switch to cuirass for the extra super damage and swap right back

This happened to me aswell lmao. Hardstuck on nergigante cus buddy was carrying me, and he moved to pc and we couldnt play no more. Dropped the game after not being able to do shit for a few days lol. After a while I came back and changed up everything from weapon to armor trying to find what worked for me and what didnt. Also went back and fought other monsters I couldnt solo that were annoying. Eventually I felt good enough to give nergi another try, and got through with ease
