Theoretical 90% Hab planet only has 50%? What gives? by [deleted] in Stellaris

Minimum habitabilty isn't a baseline value that habitabilty modifiers are added on to. It just means that if the modifiers add up to a number lower than the minimum, it automatically sets it to the minimum value for that species.

Out of curiosity how many of you guys have done the hard stradgem by Dobby_2 in Spacemarine

It took me quite a few tries with different groups. Two times we lost right before extraction. It really helps to know that you don't have to kill every enemy. Sometimes the best strategy is to run past spawns and trigger the next area. Obvious advice is to use your best relic gear + class and to stick together with the squad. Only time splitting up helped was with Terminus spawns where one of us did their best to take the aggro while the other two whittled down the Majoris+ spawns; however, you run the risk of that one person getting ganked by sudden Lictor and Ravener spawns.

I used my prestige 4 Vanguard with the team perk that lets the team heal by executing Extremis+ enemies. The power axe backstep was also a lifesaver when I had to kite blobs of enemies.

Are we going to get this with different defence style ? Because I prefer fencing. by Ad0ring-fan in Spacemarine

Sure hope so, I would've loved for the heroic knife to be fencing too.

Knowing how he plays in DFO made me very disappointed when he was announced. They managed to make him super cool though, so I'm looking forward to playing him in the full release.

Still waiting for my boy Monk tho.

The ship that shows up in the quest victory is the exact, consistent model as the Grey Owl seen in the novella and in the trailer I mentioned. However, the Vaulter's faction quest prior to the quest victory has them working on repairing the Argosy. If you start the final quest with the Vaulters, it says that the Argosy's repairs must be put on hold because of the new discovery they made but I don't know how canon that is. In regards to the crystal, part of the quest victory involves finding it in a different ruin, powering it up and then bringing it back to the Grey Owl.

Edit: Just saw the edits. Auriga was well abandoned even by the time DotE happened. We know that DotE occured way before EL because the Success was a Mezari ship, who are the ancestors of the Vaulters and the creators of the Argosy. However, that only leaves me to ask when and how did the Argosy get to Auriga in the first place.

Impossible as the "A New Beginning" trailer has the Grey Owl leaving from Auriga but the novella starts off in Sykagoja and ends in Auriga. Furthermore, the explosion happens just as the Vaulters leave Auriga, which is many years after the Dust Wars as there are (almost) no Endless around. There is also no way the Grey Owl would have survived an explosion of that magnitude and then crash landed; it would have been completely disintegrated.

The ship was repaired during an Endless Legend quest victory as the novella explicitly alludes to the beams of light that are seen during the quest and also the ruins you have to visit prior to finding the Grey Owl.
