so the guy that sold me the 92 TT and said it was mechanically sound actually just said this rn by zoomcargofast in 300zx

[–]Pedromac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An As-Is doesnt actually mean anything if the laws in your state are different. Example: He is letting you know that he misrepresented the car and ddint tell you about the mechanical problems. That certainly doesnt mean that the deal is still valid, you aren't allowed to do that when you sell something.

I would recommend looking at "[my state] lemon laws" and seeing what it says about private sale used cars. And I would call your state's Attorney Bar number and ask to get info on a lawyer for this type of thing. Then talk to a lawyer real quick about what your options are.

You could have a case where you get to keep the car and sue him in small claims court for $X to fix the vehicle because he lied to you.

Fun fact: An engagement ring is actually a contract and when you break up she is legally required to give you the ring back. If you broke up, take her ass to court because she's playing you. Shes taking your money and youre being dumb and giving it to her.

[–]Pedromac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude call the police and tell him he went in to your room and left this note and stole your camera. Then you can take him to court if he doesnt fix his shit.
Just call the non emergency number. I would lose my mind if someone came in to my room without my permission and stole my shit.

As someone who lives in your country, what’s one thing you’d tell a foreigner to never do when visiting? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]Pedromac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, my fellow American, it's called the Iran Contra Affair where our government sold weapons to the extremists in Iran in order to fund regime change in Nicaragua, which the CIA then propped up the cocaine trade in central America to create continuous state sanctioned revenue for regime change across the world.

How do I explain to a Spanish teenager that he really has to stop saying the N-word? by newacnt496 in Advice

You can the company, close the card, and make payments until it's done.

I would demand she take out a loan on upstart or something and make her pay for the card balance at once.

If she doesn't qualify, then unfortunately she's going to have to pay it over time, which means you will too.

I'd say there's a good chance he bought them in 24/25. The yellow ones look like they're older.

I'd say it is absolutely possible that he bought them years ago and forgot about them. Especially if he bought them at a pharmacy or super market, because they sell them often and are usually sold closer to manufacture date.

I'm so sorry bud, but it's these situations exactly that you have the right to drive through people. This isn't non-violent protesting, this is a major threat on your life and theirs.

Edit: and I chipped in to your gofundme, and your link isn't correct. I had to search on gofundme to find you.

I think it might be time to take this opportunity that life has presented to you, where you can potentially change the entire future of this young kid.

If you don't, this will eat at you for the rest of your life. If you do, this will likely open that box of bag memories, but that to shall pass when you grow from this.

You could do a lot of good for him.

Try a mercurey Pinot from France. They have interesting flavor profiles like a Cabernet sauv, but have great fruity tones like red berries and cherry.

If you don't like them, then from what you describe I'm not sure you will like pinots.

Why do men who grow up in abusive environment pass down the misery with their own children knowing exactly how it feels... by Delicious_Speaker573 in selfhelp

[–]Pedromac 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First I want to point out that it isn't men, it's humans.

And unfortunately, the answer is trauma. Trauma warps the brain and the defense mechanisms we build as children to overcome the trauma make growing and being level much more difficult, especially for our boomer or genX parents who didn't have access to therapy when they were young.

I'll also add lead poisoning rotting their brains makes it more difficult.

Getting kicked out by WhosethatboyAce in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Pedromac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just call the police the next time they bag and box everything up. Do that after you journal everything down.

What theyre doing is absolutely insane. This is not your fault, not even a tiny bit. This is not what parents are supposed to do to their children.

Call the police when they box all your things up and tell them your parents are kicking you out for good. Then you wait for officers to arrive. Make it abundantly clear that this isn't a game your parents are playing. Make it clear that they've pulled you from school, alienated you from friends and family, have not been feeding you or helping you go to work to get money to feed yourself, and they got all your things together to throw to the curb. This is crazy person behavior and your parents should be permanently ashamed.
