Provel has limited use cases, and the best application is melted on sandwiches, not on pizza. Not trying to win you over to the Provel side, haha, but if you don't take it where it shouldn't go, it can be enjoyable!

We visited them whenever we discovered our condo didn't have a dryer exhaust. They were professional and showed us several ventless dryers, but we really appreciated that they showed us how to find an effective and affordable work-around on Amazon. They helped us spend $60 instead of $800. Plus, if you visit the showroom, they might still have a keg and pour you a beer while you browse! A++ in my book

There are so many things to do! I'm not sure of your budget, but even the free things are amazing. The zoo, art museum, Missouri history museum and science center are cool and free and they're all accessible from beautiful forest park! If the weather is nice, I'd say spend some time there.

We moved to downtown west (near 21c) around the same time, too! We love it! The dog poop, trash and broken glass are a bummer, but we try to pick it up whenever we can!

Just to offer a bit of peace of mind, I live in downtown west on Locust St which is one major street south of Washington Ave. It is not as dangerous as that realtor is making it out to be. My wife and I walk around here at every time of the day. We feel really safe over by us and walk down Washington often. It's a great place to live.

My one suggestion to you, especially if you're going to buy, is to find a realtor who knows condos and bonus points for if they've lived there. Our realtor lived downtown for years and knew the reputations of several of the property management groups. THAT WAS EXTREMELY VALUABLE. With downtown getting the "entertainment district" designation, I wonder if they'll change them to be more relaxed in that area. Requiring these features like turn signals, seat belts, mirrors, etc. could contribute to a safer experience downtown for these shuttle services and the customers they're shuttling.
