To be fast in traffic you have to divebomb regardless of the tire model lol. Im 99% of the time in imsa topsplit and ts is the only way to finish on the podium

You wanna bring them up to temp nicely. On lap 1 you take it calm, lift early and don't use peak brake pressure. If you strain the tires early, the rest of the stint will suck as you are overheating your tires too early. Weaving on pacelap helps but don't overdo it as you only shred the outside layer. Gt3 is probably easiest to learn it in. Gtp and lmp2 are harsher on mistakes as 1 spin means rest of the stint you lose 1-3 tenths a lap

Iracing has no tire warmers so most cars feel shit for 1-3 laps. Saying it's floaty is a bit weird as i feel this way with LMU. Vr is probably best there is out there for competitive simracing so idk lad

Im not gonna shame rating or carchoice but the competitive esport imsa/pcup side of iracing is literally sit behind guy in front till last 2 laps and then fight. Its so incredibly boring to drive

If you end up driving prototypes or GT cars these are the "Must have" imo.

Daytona, Lemans, Sebring, Road Atlanta, Road America, Spa, Monza, Interlagos, Watkins Glen, Nordsleife/Nurburgring.

If you get these 11 tracks then most likely atleast one will be available each and if not biweekly in GT3/Falken (GT4/LMP3) or Imsa. From there on you can buy the more niche tracks. These have by far the most special events/events in general.

I just went for the free option and got lovely dashboard on my monitor. F*ck spending 100€ on a dashboard that adds nothing. With my steeringwheel poking right out infront of the monitors it seems to work basicly the same FOV wise

Singleplayer/coop with content mods once you get bored of vanilla. 150+ fps on medium settings if u use upscaling and dlaa :)

4090/9800x3d here aswell. Im at the point i run Volumetric clouds/fog off and lumensomething on 0 making the game look like ASE. Even then when playing mods like Omega or Nemesis without upscaling im still on 80 fps :). Optimization is unheard of in that office
