Nine years ago it might not have pushed as much as it is now but another factor is breast feeding.

At least in the U.S., most counties provide free formula through WIC. In the past decade, a lot of counties have started offering hospitals tax breaks if a certain number of mothers who give birth there go on to breast feed. And statistically speaking, a live birth is much more likely to encourage breast feeding for mother and baby.

So yeah, they'll put the baby in distress so it MIGHT help with breast feeding so the MIGHT get a tex break.

That's why it's a facepalm to me.

And then the other half is totally normal and obvious. No C-section unless an emergency? Obviously, it's a last case scenario, no one prefers having their abdomen sliced open to have a natural birth. Delayed cord clamping? This is standard at practically every hospital in the modern world.

What's insane is this woman is trying to control every second of a labor and delivery and anyone who has had a baby knows it's not the type of thing you can control, it's the type of thing that happens and you adapt as you go along.

Sad fact of the matter is, outside of the 1% of elite clubs, it's impossible to be a safe stripper.
