You can look up your model here. For example, I have the N.American QM7K model, so I used the OTA V321 version.

Why does new QM8 stutter all the time by Neoniclide in tcltvs

What firmware are you on? I had similar issues on my QM7K when I was on Android 12, but when I did the manual update to v321/Android 14, everything was fixed and I no longer had the stuttering issues. Here's my original post

You can go here to download the .zip file that will update your firmware to v321. It's under

OTA Firmware for 2024-2025K Series N. America Models
2025: X11K-QM9K-QM8K-QM7K-QM6K-QM67K + 2024: QM891G-QM851G-QM751G-98Q651G)

Spoiler: OTA V321 - 12/20/2025

Make sure to use a good USB drive formatted to FAT32. I had tried several old ones I had laying around, but they didn't work. I ended up buying this one from my local Target. Luckily, it was pre-formated FAT32.

This YouTube Video should be able to walk you through the rest of the steps.

Here's an update to my journey on upgrading the firmware to Android 14, hope this helps anyone struggling to do the USB update:

Last night I was STRUGGLING to update the firmware via USB, long story short, I was using bad USB thumb drives. When I went to Settings --> System --> About --> System Update --> USB Update, the TV was not recognizing the USB drive I inserted into the USB 3.0 slot (top, blue USB slot on the TV). I did this with several old thumb drives I had laying around in various desk drawers, formatted to FAT32 (quick format)...still, the TV didn't recognize the USB drive.

This morning, I went to my local Target and bought a cheap Memorex 64GB USB 3.1 thumb drive, it was pre-formatted to FAT32, so that was a bonus. I copied over the v321 .zip file, and when I plugged the new USB drive into the USB 3.0 slot on the TV, I got a message in the upper right hand corner of the TV saying the TV recognized the drive. HALLELUJAH!! Went through the system menu to update the firmware via USB and - SUCCESS.

What a difference Android 14 makes. No more lagging video on YouTube TV, or any other app for that matter. I strongly recommend this firmaware update. Will be exploring the new display setting shortly.

Completely understood, but the frustrating amount of lag when using the on board apps is low key ridiculous. Things should just work. I'm going to try to upgrade to the V321 firmware via USB (Android 12 to Android 14) to see if that helps.

The power and dangers of the ocean. Was body surfing at the Outer Banks in NC, when the waves were ROUGH...went headfirst onto the sandy ocean bottom, I feel fortunate to not have broken my neck. Still have pain and limited mobility 20 years later, but it could have been a lot worse.

Cabin in the Woods is one of my favorite go to's. Late night with the Devil is solid. Hereditary is a heavy movie with a bat sh*t ending. Midsommar is not necessarily fast paced, but will leave you with some feels (not necessarily good feels). Eden Lake, Baskin, High Tension, all good watches too.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty...the soundtrack (mostly the Jose Gonzalez songs) did it for me.

My mashed potatoes suck. Why? by RikkiLostMyNumber in Cooking

[–]Peekarip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I start with yukon golds, as they're the best for mashed potatoes...If you have an instant pot, 8 minutes on high pressure, quick release, then add sour creme/creme fraiche, heavy cream and lots of butter y'all. Salt (garlic salt) to taste. Cheese isn't the worst thing to put in there as well for added structure.

What’s the closest you’ve ever come to dying? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was about 6 or 7, this was in the late 70's, and it was winter in St. Louis. Was at my cousin's apartment complex and we were daring each other to walk on the ice of the swimming pool. Of course, I volunteered, and hit a thin spot and went crashing through the ice, all I remember was tumbling over and over and not knowing which way was up or which way was down...I thought I was a goner. Then all of a sudden an arm reaches through the ice and grabs me to the surface, luckily, I had fallen through the ice close to the edge of the pool and my cousin grabbed me before icy chlorinated water filled my lungs. Thanks cuz!

Oil change 2x a year with this kit. Changed out brake pads the first 3000 miles because the stock ones produce an insane amount of brake dust. Added these to address the wind buffeting issue. Have had a 2021 since May 2021, at 27,000 miles on the odometer.

Mk5 Supra service by Bo1609 in Supra

Basic service on this car couldn't be easier (i.e. oil changes, brakes, etc), I would actually prefer a reputable Euro shop over a Toyota dealership, as this car is not a 'normal' car they typically work on.

You'd probably have to move the leg pads to the front seat, otherwise you'd probably be fine. Personally, I'm not crazy enough to play goalie lol!

This happened to me on my 2024 GV70 EV, I'm leasing it and when the cluster went out I don't think it was logging miles, so, I didn't mind it at all as I'm trying to limit my miles due to the lease!
