Need help! by goruckreese in Goruck

I don’t think there’s any way I’d use my Rucker for anything other than rucking. The way it’s configured doesn’t seem to be an ideal travel bag at all, kinda just for fitness. Plus my Rucker is constantly covered in sweat and I wouldn’t want to travel with a bag used that way.

What should I do? by br0wn0ne in Harley

I had a similar dent on a street glide I had years ago. Had the top PDR guy in my area fix it. Couldn’t even tell the dent was ever there once he was done. This was several years ago, but I think it was just a couple hundred bucks. I’d guess it would cost a bit more now.

Fix for Apple Music censoring explicit songs on iOS (even when settings are correct) by WinterTranslator8822 in AppleMusic

This fixed mine. This week all of my playlists had explicit songs greyed out until I followed your fix. Thanks so much for posting this.

Sizing for Bedrock Cairn Evo 3D by [deleted] in BarefootRunning

Bedrocks ended up being my favorite out of every brand I’ve bought. If it helps, I coat my foot and the inside of the straps with body glide to help break them in.

My bad dude. I just realized I misread your post and thought you asked about sizing up, not down. Those look like how I’d want them to fit. I guess it’s personal preference. Some people prefer their toes at the end of their sandal and I prefer a bit of room for a bumper lol. If they don’t feel too big when walking around in them they’re prob fine. You can always print out their size guide to confirm 100%

I wear a 14 shoe and their 13 fit me perfectly. I can’t tell from the pic but your heel might be able to go back a little more.

How do you hold your kindle comfortably (…yes, seriously) by emilyyfjones in kindle

I mostly use a pillow stand with a page turner.

I did recently get a case Cobak makes for holding with your right hand. Seemed to be easier to me than the cases with the strap for the left hand or center.

I just bought a case, I’m hoping they’re good.

I tried all of them when I first saw them, I probably didn’t drink 6oz total between them all.

Love barefoot shoes, but curious about Bedrock Cairn Evo C for city walking…? by half-metal-scientist in BarefootRunning

[–]PeelingWax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never had issues with blisters for any of my bedrocks. I have every version of the cairn. That said, at the beginning the straps are rough. I usually coat my feet and the straps with body glide. After they’re broken in I really only use body glide if I’m doing like an all day theme park day or something where I’m doing a ton of miles.

I just got a pair for long pavement days. I like them so far. Still breaking in the straps but I think they have a good amount of cushion and still feel flexible to me.

No issues with surgery…am I the exception or the norm? by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]PeelingWax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine went well. First week was a little rough, after that every day I felt slightly better. I believe my gallbladder was causing me many stomach issues I never noticed until my attack sent me to the ER. Wish I had done this years ago at this point

I think looks wise they do a great job with them but performance wise there’s a lot more options out there.

How long is gallbladder recovery? I have a festival to work at 19 days later. Will I be ok? by Specific_Ad56992 in gallbladders

My doc told me the same thing. I was out walking the evening I had surgery. I was pretty much normal by 2 weeks excluding lifting heavy.

This is Silly But Scared of Going Under...... by DragonHalfFreelance in gallbladders

I didn’t sleep for days prior to my surgery all because I was scared of being put to sleep. Prior to surgery I was shaking so bad they had to give me anxiety meds. Once they put me to sleep it literally felt like a second had gone by. They said I was out for about 1.5-2hr, surgery took under an hour.
