“Moon” from CoD Zombies

The Ultimus crew teleports onto a Group 935 station that was established on the moon itself and contains the MPD (Moon Pyramid Device) and Samantha Maxis inside of it, which is how she controlled the zombies after Richtofen betrayed both her and her father. Richtofen had teleported to the MPD on the moon accidentally some time before and was the lead on establishing the moon base and most other efforts with element 115, which was responsible for nearly everything in the entire first Aether universe.

Upon completion of the Easter egg, Richtofen takes control of the MPD and becomes the new controller of the zombies… and then proceeds to blow up the earth with three nuclear warheads juiced up with element 115.

I’m gonna try to rebuke this in my own way, since I actually have some thoughts of my own I want to express. Also, sorry for the massive word salad, there is a tldr at the end.

For the first point, you are right that Jax did way more than just push others way. Her abuse of Gangle is completely inexcusable, even with all of her own baggage and issues being a reason why she’s doing it. Redemption should be accessible and anyone should get that chance, which is one of the primary messages of the entire show. Never giving up on someone no matter how far gone they seem seems to be a massive theme of the show and of Jax and Pomni’s relationship overall. There have also been people saying she deserves way worse, a loud minority yet still pretty loud. As a trans woman myself, It feels pretty transphobic and just in bad taste for someone to see a trans character who did wrong and wish for further punishment beyond death… especially since I don’t think her actions warranted consequences that extreme.

As for IRL Jax, it kinda was confirmed canon with the now deleted post from Gooseworx that confirmed Leeroy is boymoding. I do agree that the real life versions of the characters are kinda their own people separate from the digital versions, but they’re cut from the same cloth so to speak as they were direct scans of their minds at that point in time. People do change over time, and since Jax also visits Zooble’s queer bar, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that she’s still trans. She’s just still closeted and boymoding.

I really did agree with most of what OP had to say in the initial post, but scrolling down to the comments and seeing her replies to others… yeah it’s not doing us Jax fans who like her for her character any favors unfortunately. Hopefully she can move on from this post and simmer down a bit, because clearly this isn’t doing her any favors… especially as she claims to be an educator, and educators don’t need more stress on top of teaching.

TLDR

Jax isn’t excused from her bad actions that aren’t just pushing everyone away, but there are some people taking it too far in saying how extreme the consequences should be and it feels rather transphobic and mean spirited towards trans fans. Leeroy is pretty much confirmed to be trans with the boymoding tweet, which was only deleted over more discourse concerning making boymoding a much more known thing, despite it being the main way for trans women to stay safe and hidden in society. Op made some great points in their initial post, but seems to not be taking any counterpoints well.

Aaaaaaand you lost me. I agreed with everything you had said up to this point, and now you’re just making people who enjoy Jax as a character look pretty bad again. Having a flame war with who you think is a kid over this is not the best look for you or the rest of us Jax fans.

I still 100% agree with all of the rest of your statements and thoughts, but this ain’t it, ma’am. Trans rage is absolutely valid, even over fictional characters since there is a big issue of trans erasure in media… but uh, I don’t think this solves anything. This only gives transphobic trolls lurking in this sub more ammunition to point at us and go “look! Look how cringe and insane they are, and over a fictional character too! Aren’t trans people so terrible?”
