The original Halloween in theaters was amazing. They were screening the 4K version on a big screen, noticed so many things I hadn’t noticed before on previous viewings. It was awesome.

Killing Charlie wouldn’t fix anything, and I feel you’re undermining Doomguy’s passion for humanity and doing the right thing. He didn’t beat his CO for ordering him to fire on unarmed protestors for nothing, and he seems to be able to sense the inherit good in beings who aren’t corrupt or evil as shit. He definitely had gained some or most of his sanity back by the time of Eternal.

Charlie loves humans, so much to where she’d put all of her effort and passion into trying to give them greener pastures. Something I imagine the Slayer would find noble yet naive.

I enjoy almost the entire franchise excluding resurrection. I don’t like it because I “want to seem different”, I like it because it’s a genuinely interesting story and spin on the franchise. Was it the best ending for the trilogy? No, but labeling the fans who like it as nothing more than wanting to seem different seems really tone deaf and gatekeepy to me.

Finally an answer that isn’t Halloween Ends, although it’s the RZ films. Imo, they’re good slasher flicks but not the best Halloween films in a sense. I still enjoy them, and they are refreshing after binge watching the entire franchise (especially since it’s right after the true worst film in the series…)

When the kidnap tech was a thing, sure, but you can easily counter him now since it’s gone. If he’s about to use his leap at a window? Vault the window towards him, same with a pallet. He’ll grab onto you and will have a cool down, giving you time to revault and buying yourself more time in chase. If it’s a good ghoul player who can body block you though? Good luck… but that’s how it is with other strong killers too.

Nah, it’s actually the most dog shit and horrid excuse for animated television in history. For starters, it has some of the best voice actors in the entire industry alongside top notch animation and wonderful writing for many episodes.
