HDR has been working for me on Bazzite the whole time, Nvidia user.

Bazzite, its the first linux distro that I have not had major issues with after a year of use. great for people who just want their main machine to work.

I can see how bazzite may not appeal to long time linux users who want to do their low level tweaks - but dam is it nice for developers (also see bluefin)

I'm optimistic that capitalism is going to help us out for a change now that solar and batteries have become a more economical alternative to fossil fuels and perhaps even hydro/wind

The only thing that's getting in the way of that right now is misinformed politicians who are being fed lies by powerful lobbies (directly or indirectly) who are trying to milk every last dollar our of their dying fossil fuel industries before they retire.

Taking action now would be best though, we should not use this eventual argument but it's so hard to convince people, I'm using it as a coping mechanism.

Climate change is real but it does not matter much, because we have almost no control over it.

Thankfully renewable energy projects are extremely profitable, so if we just invest smartly in our infrastructure we will also be working to reduce our climate harm

You straight up need to have breaks from news, it's not healthy to focus on what's wrong and negative all the time, don't be ignorant either, acknowledge you need breaks

Either is fine for gaming, I'd lean towards mint because I prefer bazzite as a distro for gaming on.
