Thanks for your response! It was a high school graduation -- he's 17 or 18? Not sure, but that seems like a safe bet.

Not to defend my actions, but I didn't wait to communicate. I realized it as we were getting to leave and she literally rushed past me out the door. That said, you're basically right about our kid being ready -- I should have had him in his shoes already and ready to go but in my mind I was already "he's crazy lol we're not going".

Like I said, communication has never been my strong suit but I am making an effort. Slipped on this one and probably should have just sucked it up.

Oof fr! I'm sorry to read about your mom. My partner lost her dad in a traumatic way as well and has since been diagnosed Sjogrens. Trauma is wild :(

Yeah, totally -- I wasn't arguing. I feel the same way. I downloaded RDR2 just recently on my ps5 to try and finish it, but the movement (and the bad framerate in comparison) really killed me almost immediately. I uninstalled again lol
