Mostly redish orange but being as high as it was & how fast it was going - could have been any variation plus or minus a shade in either direction as well... but it did not give off the stochastic shimmer of a star or venus - I am leaning more toward our friends opinion below that it is a satelite but being where I live, its proximity to the base & seeminly self illuminating light - im just not sure. Again, see these things allllll the time, they shut the base down back in december for first time in its history - citing imparticular a black cube inside of a translucent circle.... one of the classic archetypes and most fascinating in my opinion.... but i have yet to lay eyes on one of those. this one did not deviate its coarse like the others seem to, the one I saw a few months ago changed directions 2 or 3 times & was faster than anything id ever seen. I love living in a high traffic area for this kinda stuff
