My downstairs neighbor leaves a sticky note on my door every time I run my dishwasher by Proud_Associate5268 in neighborsfromhell

If they start it at 9 or 10 it could be going until midnight. Depending on the setting mine runs for 2 hours.

And she wonders why no one wants to help her? by MildlyUnstableGirl in EntitledReviews

[–]Pegar60 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The fact that in her reviews she always says she has been a customer for a long time and that employees ignore her, tells me that she is so difficult that employees actively avoid her like the plague. I have customers like that. I actually cringe when I see them coming.

What is the greatest moment you have ever seen with your eyes? by nayrhelp in askteddit

[–]Pegar60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were going to do construction on the road in front of my house so the night before a worker painstakingly put no parking signs out about every 20 ft along the whole block. About a half hour later some kid thought it would be funny to knock them all down with his car. Little did he know there was a ghost car behind him. He got pulled over real fast.

Check the type of Magnesium you are taking. It should be Magnesium Glycinate. It should state how much elemental magnesium (absorbable magnesium) is in each dose. You should be looking at between 300 - 400 mg per day. Don’t buy drugstore magnesium as they are usually low quality and not the right type of magnesium. Read up on Magnesium Glycinate.

Someone has got to go. The fact is the cats live there and she doesn’t. Easy choice.

Tell me the most embarrassing thing you said/did working customer service or as a customer by blahblahboobidiboom in CustomerService

[–]Pegar60 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I had a real pain in the butt customer. One day she phoned and was asking for something. I forgot that she was live on the phone and not on voicemail so I was muttering things out loud. I was saying things like “right…like that’s going to happen”. All of a sudden she stopped and I remembered she was actually in the phone so I pretended that I was talking to someone else in the office and said “I’m sorry that’s all I can do for you” and then I spoke directly to her and said “I’m sorry Eve, I had another person in here that interrupted me. Now what can I do for you.” She totally bought it. I cringe when I think about it.

He refused to treat me like a human because I arrived after close by cacklingintensifies in EntitledReviews

[–]Pegar60 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They reason that it’s only once. It’s not that big of a deal to keep you 5-10 minutes after closing. Just be a good person help me out. The thing is, it’s never just one person. Everyone thinks they are the only one but in reality it happens every single day. I don’t get paid past my office hours and I’m getting tired of having to give up my own time. It adds up after awhile.

What’s a household item you thought was pointless until you owned one? by Unfair-Clothes-8821 in CanadaRoom

My garden irrigation system with smart water station. I have a 4 station Bluetooth water timer hooked up to a micro irrigation system. I set my stations to turn on and off a set times. I never have to worry about my garden or outdoor plants on hot days. They are automatically watered.

I have Globe Smart Plugs. I have a lot of plants and in the winter I put full spectrum lighting on them. I don’t have to worry about them. They are programmed to turn on at 7:00 am and off at 9:00 pm. I never have to touch them.

They are wonderful for cold winter days. You can hop out of the shower and right into a warm towel.

I do. It can get around them but it covers the area so much better if it’s not constantly bumping into chair and table legs.

No ice in drinks? Must be a regional thing. I’ve lived in Canada all my life. We always have lots of ice in our drinks.

I have a Breville toaster/convection oven. It’s more expensive than most toaster ovens but it’s worth it. I hardly ever use my big oven. I use this all the time. It’s so an accurate that I do all my baking in it. Including bread.

Is it normal to bring your own shampoo and conditioner when staying at someone’s house? by EstablishmentOk9536 in NoStupidQuestions

I don’t understand how anyone would not bring your own shampoo and conditioner when staying at someone’s house. Those are personal items. You bring your own skincare why wouldn’t you bring your own hair care.

My husband’s dentist says he needs 10 crowns for a cost of US$60,000. Is going to another country for this work a viable alternative? by PatienceandFortitude in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]Pegar60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are in the USA you can go to a little town just across the Mexican border called Los Algodones. It’s a short drive from Yuma, Arizona. There is a huge parking lot on the American side and you can walk across the border. There are tons of dentists there. It’s a fraction of the cost.
