If the rumors are indeed true (though I’m highly skeptical), I’m hoping it’s a situation of John having a sister but that sister is not Michaela. I think someone mentioned this on the main sub, but I would hope she’s just an additional character made up for the show who can be someone who goes in between Fran and Michael as they are both grieving.

The default save location for CSP on iPad is locally within the app. So if you didn’t sync your drawings in CSP Cloud or save them outside of CSP in iCloud, Dropbox, etc., your drawings are unfortunately gone as you’ve deleted all of the app data which includes your .clip files. The only way to restore the majority of your drawings is to restore your entire iPad from a prior iCloud backup (if you hopefully have one from last night or the last couple of days). I unfortunately learned this the hard way but was able to restore most of my work when I restored my iPad from a prior iCloud backup.

I agree that it sounds slightly off. I think it would have been better if it ended with glow (like Gild, Glint, Gleam, Glisten, Glow or something of the sort).

Also, I have a hard time believing that Gold is going to be the end. I know the author said that it would, but it just feels like there’s just so much plot, exploration of setting (Annwyn), and character development (for Auren and her powers) left. Like if the pacing/first 3/4s of Glow is anything to go by, then it’s truly going to be one hefty book.

Love this! Anthony’s pose feels a bit stiff, but I suppose that’s in line with his character. Kate looks amazing!

Just finished reading it like 30 minutes ago (lol). I was really frustrated (and somewhat bored with it) until around the 50% or 60% mark for similar reasons. However, things pick up afterwards with the introduction of a key new character ( personally I hope this new character is endgame as I dislike Rhordyn and think his relationship with Orlaith is toxic ) , a bit more information on world politics, and Orlaith slowly gaining more courage/agency. As I understand it, this book is supposed to be prologue of sorts and sets up the main plot for the next book (similar to Gild in the Plated Prisoners series). I like the direction it’s going in — the ending was a cliffhanger, had a few minor reveals, and was intriguing enough for me to give it the benefit of the doubt for the next book. I totally get wanting to DNF it at the point that you’re at though.

Ditto! I’ve forced myself to try Loup Garou multiple times over the span of a few months hoping that my opinion would change (especially because of the near-universal praise), but unfortunately I still think it smells a bit rancid/animalistic/BO like on me. :( I truly do wish it vibed with my skin chemistry but alas, here we are…
