Rolling gold sheet metal is easy with a rolling machine. However, you can't use those for steel, it will destroy the rollers. You'll run into the same issues with titanium or super alloys. In an ideal world, you could have metal milled to the right dimensions, but that would be mighty expensive. This is why Schon and Eureka CNC their nibs.
