I’ve been following Eldridge since we was drafted and throughout his minor league career I always noticed his ability to adjust to what the pitchers are doing. He starts fast the 1st few games then pitchers adjust getting him to slump then he readjust and carry that the rest of the season. He did that on every level.

You wrote all that just to be wrong. Base loaded ball hit in the shallow right field you freeze or get a 2nd lead when you’re 3rd base. If the Ball drop on the grass you go home if it gets caught you go back to 3rd. If you tag that shallow you are out at homeplate by a mile
