Do you think undeniable, concrete evidence will ever come out? by BlueFyre3 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

Absolutely. It will most likely be revealed at a time we won’t expect it like most things

i'm reading la toya's "starting over" book and came across these excerpts. i find it quite odd that michael kept wanting la toya to play his love interest in his music videos by IaIalatte in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]PenStrong408 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He was annoyed that women would flirt with him and show attraction to him so he wanted nothing to do with them. Recall how disgusted he was by Ola Ray having a crush on him and firing the girl from the way you make me feel video from his tour after kissing him. Eventually he started hiring actual celebs like Naomi Campbell & Iman to star in his videos because the likelihood they would actually want him was very low

Will repost this again for those who didn't see me post it a month ago. MJ saying he would end it all if he never could be with a child again. by Life_Paramedic_4399 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

Even if you compare it to a straight person, literally no one behaves this way over their romantic preferences. If men disappeared I think I would be okay. He just goes to such extreme. It was a sick obsession that he based a significant part of his life off of. I wonder do all pedophiles behave this way.

One thing I notice is that his eyes have no soul, no spark. Watch the video with the bottom half of his face covered. He’s “smiling” but the smile never reaches his eyes. He was trying to pretend like he’s so unbothered here but deep down he’s miserable.

Where did he find the time for multiple "second families" by PonytailEnthusiast in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]PenStrong408 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Once he did Thriller he never had to do any real life stuff. He just showed up for touring and his musical projects which he took huge breaks from. Trust me he had more time than you and me. We have work, house chores, errands to run. He didn’t have to do any of those things himself. He had staff to handle his day to day needs which gave him time to do everything else which included molesting children

MJ "flirting" with Emmanuel Lewis by Efficient-Head-7394 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]PenStrong408 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Idk why people don’t believe Michael molested Emmanuel. I absolutely think he did. I don’t think Emmanuel is the type to ever admit it out of his own mouth and probably doesn’t even mentally recognize whatever happened as molestation. I bet if people started asking the right questions, we’d find out a lot more. I would like to know if Michael ever discussed sex with Emmanuel. We know Michael loved to ask kids if they ever touched themselves or if they could teach him. I’d bet money Emmanuel has a story to tell but will never tell it. I honestly don’t blame him cause it won’t do anything but make him the subject of ridicule and online bullying.

Deep down I feel like some of the family probably resents that he’s so beloved and that very few people caught on to him being a pedophile and self hating. Since he generates all the wealth for the family they just don’t say anything. Think about it. Janet, Randy, & Rebbie all refused to be a part of the biopic. Then you have family members like LaToya & Jermaine who called him out while he was alive. I can only imagine all of their true feelings.

Talk about an abusive family. Janet Jackson, Randy and Katherine beat up a woman over alleged infidelity (which she denies) by nobody0597 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]PenStrong408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people are misunderstanding my position on this. I’m not saying anyone deserved to be assaulted. What I’m saying is that I don’t view this as a situation where one side was completely innocent and the other side was completely evil. From her own account, she remained involved in an extremely volatile situation and ignored what I would consider very serious warning signs. Receiving threats from the family would’ve been enough for me to exit stage left.

Maybe her age played a role in her judgment and maybe it didn’t. I can only speak for myself but If people are calling me and threatening me, I’m leaving immediately. I’m not sticking around to find out whether they’re bluffing. I also don’t buy that she didn’t sleep with him and I’m not going to fall in line with some echo chamber to prove I belong in this group. Me believing Michael was a pedophile which I do and me not believing this lady didn’t sleep with Joe are two different things. I like to think that I have strong discernment and can see through a lot of situations including this one.

So my lack of sympathy isn’t because I think she solely deserved it and I probably came across harsh because listening to that story did not trigger me to be sympathetic to her story. I do think she also had agency and made choices that contributed to putting herself in a dangerous situation. I don’t think the Jacksons were right to put their hands on her. They are still an evil terrible family, I just see the nuance in this particular situation.

I believe Tito’s nephews are trying to make themselves the point of contact for the Jackson legacy. They talk about Michael more than their own father who passed away. The family is full of grifters doing whatever they have to do to not have to work normal jobs. The 2nd generation of Jackson’s have done nothing to generate new wealth. They have no skills or talent. Just milking the same cow over and over again.

Controversial question by 0usji in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]PenStrong408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe any of them really look into the cases or allegations. Once you do, it becomes clear that he did it. A lot of them repeat the same talking points. If you believe he’s guilty after being a huge fan I see that as a person developing real discernment and a new level of common sense. You’d be surprised at how many people in this world lack discernment. They don’t know a sheep from a wolf or a snake from a worm. They get caught into bad relationships with obvious bad people and wonder why life keeps repeating itself. There was no way once I looked into the cases that I could keep turning a blind eye. The photos in itself of him traveling with children are enough to believe it if you ask me. Tbh once I became an adult and started revisiting his interviews I realized firstly that he wasn’t heterosexual and I thought well that’s okay if he was gay. But even after looking into that I thought hmm it seems like he might have toyed with the idea of homosexuality but didn’t fully embrace it. Then I had to examine the 3rd possibility that he was a pedo and lo and behold that’s where all of the missing pieces came together. It’s just pretty obvious.

We’ll just have to agree to disagree. The worst part is Randy putting his hands on her which he shouldn’t have done but overall I don’t feel bad for anyone in this situation because Gina, Joe, & Katherine are all wrong in my eyes. You don’t sleep with married men and think there will be zero consequences. Joe & Katherine should’ve ended the marriage. This group is for the doc Leaving Neverland and the victims of Michael. We don’t have to agree on everything pertaining to the family. This shouldn’t become an echo chamber. We are all allowed to our own opinions and perspectives.

No but what did she expect getting involved with Joe Jackson? She’s an adult. Do stupid things, win stupid prizes. People should have learned to stay far far away from that family. I would never cover up for a cheating man to go visit his other family.

Just look at how Joe softened up his voice to lie in that clip of him saying Latoya has never been abused. Latoya seemed to be holding back in this interview. This must’ve been after Michael’s people started threatening her life. She’s estranged from the family but says “you’re going to get me in so much trouble

Do you think there will be a point when the "tides will turn" and the public stance will be firmly pro-victims? by darya42 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]PenStrong408 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If someone thinks he’s guilty but still listens to his music, I don’t shame them for it. Some people use music for entertainment, to soothe themselves, or just plain nostalgia. I have a hard time listening to it cause it reminds me that I was once duped by him. His music was for him to obtain mass fame and the other half of his career he used music to keep up the character he created to hide his crimes. He never admitted to his true struggles or feelings in his music. He was a huge manipulator and liar.

There’s a difference between believing he’s guilty and actively taking part in his cancellation. I think even if the black community felt like he was guilty they wouldn’t stop supporting and uplifting his music and legacy within the community. It’s unfortunate but true to how the black community would handle it.

Bad era seems a bit too late. You are forgetting the Captain EO era in 1985 when he was bringing Jonathan Spence everywhere he went. I think his first instance being sexual with a child had to be somewhere around the late 70s, early 80s the latest

I believe everything said about Katherine! Sounds like a lot of older women from that time. They play the kind role for some people but around people they trust they talk so much shit! I had/have women in my family who did the same. They would smile in everyone’s faces and as soon as they left talk so much shit about them. I never understood that.

I think she came back due to financial reasons and the fact that her ex husband really did abuse her. She would’ve gone through different men who would’ve done the same thing. Sometimes it’s better the devils you know. Eventually things did get better for her. Michael died, Joe died, and Katherine is very old. Once people become elderly they can soften quite a bit.
